Director Gaurav Chawla and Ananya Banerjee: Adhura Ko Pura Kardijiye

Question - Your show is getting love and how are you feeling seeing this?

Ananya's answer - First of all, thank you for inviting us here, and yes, I am very happy to meet you, I think any creator or filmmaker always has a tension that they don't know how people will feel and this time So I was feeling more afraid, we were scaring the people, but we ourselves were also scared that how the audience would feel.

Gaurav's answer - So we all are getting messages like me, my parents, Nikhil, and those who have connected, so many messages are coming, it feels good.

Question - Like the horror that happens in the show, it is very difficult to connect, so how did you handle it?

Gaurav's answer - In every film or series, people tend to connect with the story and if the story gives excitement and thrill, then the story is the biggest thing. Ananya has written the story so she will give a good answer

Ananya's answer - I think people connect with people, or who is the main child or the story of friendship, who is looking for his friend, or what happened to that friend. When we make a mistake in childhood, what can be the result of it, then we live our whole life in the same way that I wish we could correct it, so now we cannot speak, then how can we live with that truth? It was important for us that people connect with the story.

Question - Did any challenges come or did you have to do any struggle?

Ananya's answer - Many challenges have come, first of all, Covid, we were shooting during Covid, and it was a big challenge, if you know, it was a children's show and there were so many children on the set, it was a challenge to take care of them. No one should get sick, no one should get ill because the weather was so bad there when we were shooting in Tamil Nadu. The biggest thing was that it was a horror movie, so it was a challenge that people to see this type of work.

Gaurav's answer - Every shoot is challenging, we have to keep everyone on the same page, handle everyone, and there were many challenges. We were shooting in Ooty in July, there it rained like it comes and goes, so as soon as it started raining we used to tell everyone to go fast and complete the scene because then it will rain heavily. It was fun.

Question - What is the special thing about your show?

Ananya's answer - Those who have made the show, those who have spent many years on this show have many special things for them. The most important thing is that I got a chance to make a horror film because it was my dream to make it in my own way, after that the cast accepted ours and then Amazon Prime also accepted it.

Gaurav's answer - We have shown all that we wanted to show in the story, the message we wanted to give, the more it reaches people, the better it is.

Question - Is there anything else coming from your side?

Gaurav's answer - There are many things that move, but the focus is still incomplete.

Question - Do you want to try more types of genres?

Ananya's answer - Yes absolutely, if people like us then we will get a chance to make more. I would love to explore more.
