We all know about talented producer duo Binaiferr and Sanjay Kohli and their popular shows - FIR, Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, Jija Ji Chhat Par Hai, and Family No 1, May I Come In Madam.
However, very few are aware that Binaiferr Kohli used to be a well-known choreographer having choreographed fashion shows in India & Internationally for Bombay Dyeing, Mafatlal, IWS, Porsche, Estee Lauder, etc before she became a leading Producer.
The Kanwaljit Singh, Tanvi Azmi starrer Family No 1 has a great title song with an innovative dance with the cast. The brain behind this title song is none other than Binaiferr Kohli. Throwing more light on that she says,” Family No 1 is one of the top 5 rated shows on Indian Television to date.

The concept of the show was initiated by Sanjay Kohli and then the writers took over. It was also the first show to have its own title song choreographed. Before that episode, clippings were used to make the title song. I remember having choreographed the song in two parts - one in a blue and green breezy look and the other in black and white formal colors.
There was this huge fan that we used while shooting the song. The appreciation and feedback for the title song were worth all the effort we put in. The lead cast Kanwaljit Singh, Tanvi Azmi and the kids did a fabulous job. After Family No 1, people started doing packaging and now there is a packaging team for a title song in every show. So in every way, this show is special and has a very special place in my heart.”
