Don't ask the caste of the sage, don't ask the education of the stars!

'Discussion of caste census is going on in the entire country. In such a situation, why does no one discuss the academic population census?'...There have been many reactions to one of my articles published somewhere. In this article of mine, a thoughtful reader of 'Mayapuri' has asked me a question why does no one ask the stars about their degree (education)? It is really a question as to how educated the screen stars who are today's youth icons are.

There are millions of fans of every dialogue in the films of the super marketable screen stars Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, and Sunny Deol. Even if their writer is someone else, the stars only get the credit. But do you know that these stars are not even graduates who run the country's biggest detective agency arbitrarily on screen or talk about reaching Mars? These days Salman Khan's film 'Tiger 3' is in the headlines, but do you know? Salman Khan is not even a graduate! Salman had been admitted to the National College, Mumbai, and ran away leaving his studies. His school-level education was also completed at Scandia School, Gwalior, and Mumbai. More or less, this is the condition of Shahrukh Khan's studies as well, he was admitted to Mass Communication in Jamia Millia Islamia (Delhi) and was a dropout. The third Khan Aamir has also barely completed his studies till 12th. Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Farhan Akhtar are also 12th pass. Akshay Kumar and Anil Kapoor are college dropouts. Abhishek Bachchan studied in Delhi, Mumbai, and Switzerland, yet he was declared a dropout from Boston University and Amitabh's dream of making his son a graduate remained unfulfilled.

If the heroines had got work according to their education, they would have got work equal to that of a maid washing utensils in a house. Alia Bhatt is the 10th pass. Katrina Kaif has not even seen the school. Karishma Kapoor is sixth, Deepika is tenth, and Bipasha is twelfth pass. Kangana Ranaut is also the 12th pass. Shraddha Kapoor is a dropout from college. Aishwarya Rai is also a college dropout like her husband Abhishek in the pursuit of becoming Miss India. Priyanka Chopra, who has dined with US President Barack Obama at the White House and is the wife of an English actor and singer, had passed high school together in Lucknow and Bareilly and left her studies after being admitted to Jai hind College, Mumbai. Kareena Kapoor was also admitted to LAW College, Churchgate, and Mumbai. After becoming a star, she became interested in studies but after taking admission, she did not reach GLC even a day.

Of course, some stars are also educated. Amitabh Bachchan has a B.Sc. and Honorary Doctorate. John Abraham is an MBA. Vidya Balan has studied till MA. Disha Patani, Kartik Aryan, and Vicky Kaushal have obtained engineering degrees. Huma Qureshi is a graduate. Parineeti Chopra is triple honors. In today's youth, most of the boys and girls are coming into the industry after studying. Nothing applies to everyone anywhere. What we mean is that studies and some work are not related to each other. That is, don't ask the caste of the saint, don't ask the degree of the stars...this is the reality.
