“Don’t Use Plastic And Don’t Be Plastic (No Fake Attitude)” Advises Salman Khan At The Nexa-IFFA-2019  Pre-Awards Media Event

Mascot super-star Salman Khan  known for his quirky candid wit commented on the heavy torrential rains-flooding in Mumbai city which was submerged with rain-water.  “Iss baar kal aisa laga kay Bappa ( Lord Ganesha) hum sab ka visarjan ( immersion) kar denge. Hamesha hum unka visarjan kar dete hain. Lekin baad mein unka mind change ho gaya, thank God. But we were very happy that it rained and we continued our shoots, although it may have caused delay and inconvenience. We must pray that we get only as much rain as we actually require , ” insisted Salman amidst applause. . The ‘Bharat’ mega-star  seemed euphoric  as he addressed the news-media ( along with Madhuri Dixit and Katrina Kaif) at the pre-awards-event of the 20^th homecoming edition of  the ‘glocal’ grand star-studded Nexa IIFA Awards 2019 to be held in Mumbai on 16^th and 18^th September at the NSCI Dome, SVP Stadium.  While Salman, in his masti-mazaak mood quipped that “some of the Bollywood stars were ‘disappointed’ with the decision to hold the  otherwise globe-totting IIFA Awards in  Mumbai and said that they don’t perform  locally”,  charismatic Madhuri Dixit was ecstatic as she reacted.“ After travelling all over the world, after 20 years it’s wonderful that IIFA is back home to its origin city Mumbai, the birth-place of Bollywood. This time all the local fans  who are already debating the favorite IIFA winners, will be able to buy the entry-passes and witness the grandeur-glory of the IIFA awards right here in Mumbai.”.  The tall, stunning Katrina Kaif  enthused.  “ Every IIFA spectacular show-event is memorable and this time in Mumbai too I am super-excited, the energy there is unique.”  Meanwhile Salman was frank as he confessed that “is committed with the IIFA mainly because  of his close friendship over past many decades with the organizers Andre Timmins,  Sabbas Joseph and Viraf Sarkari.  The rest of the awards, we do because we love to perform and also get ‘paid’ in return,” shrugged the frank debonair Khan  whose message  to the aam janata is,  “don’t use plastic and don’t be plastic”.
