Nutan was born on 4 June 1936 an actress worked in films spanning 4 decades,appeared in 70 films as a protagonist from urban romances, literary adaptation, to psycho-socio realist drama as finest actress in history of Indian cinema noted for her naturalistic acting style in parts of conflicted deemed unconventional roles.

Her accolades include a record 5 Filmfare Awards for Best Actress Padma Shri.Nutan,won everyone's heart in Bollywood due to her beauty known for serious character roles leaving deep impression.
