Lust Stories 2:

Always seen in the girls next door image, Mrunal in Lust Stories 2 was completely different from what we have seen earlier. Her bonding with her co-actors Neena Gupta and Angad Bedi was a pleasant surprise for moviegoers. She was part of R Balki's segment in the series. With so many senior actors in the anthology, Mrunal's performance was appreciated.

Jersey:

It was a delight to watch Mrunal Thakur as Vidya. She was absolutely impressive as a young lover and wife who wants her husband Shahid Kapoor to take charge of the household. Though her screen time was limited,  she has made the most of every frame given to her. Mrinal carried herself very well in every age group she played in the film.

storm:

Mrunal was absolutely breathtaking as Dr. Ananya Prabhu, who stars alongside Farhan Akhtar in the film. Her character seems to hold everything together when things were falling apart and Mrunal fits that role perfectly. The film was directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Mrinal got the opportunity to work with such a veteran of the industry early in her career.

Super 30:

The film is one of the underrated performances of Mrunal Thakur, which is hardly mentioned but Mrunal as Supriya won many hearts with her limited screen presence. In the film, she played the role of a normal girl who is also a classical dancer. This is her second film in the industry but her acting and classical dance in this film was well received.
