e4m News Next 2023: enba Awards 2022 ceremony held on August 27 at Noida Hotel Radisson Blu

The 15th edition of exchange4media News Broadcasting Awards (enba) was held on Sunday, 27th August in a glittering ceremony at Radisson Blu, Noida. The awards felicitated the best of the Indian broadcast news media industry. It recognizes the best in television news and rewards broadcasters and industry leaders who are responsible for shaping the future of television broadcasting in India.

NDTV Editorial Director Sonia Singh was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the star-studded award night. TV Today Network's Rahul Kumar Shaw was honored with the 'CEO of the Year' award, while Aaj Tak's Consulting Editor Sudhir Chowdhary was named the 'ENBA Media Maverick of the Year 2023'.

TV Today Network won the maximum number of awards with a total of 144 metals, followed by ABP Network with a total of 63 metals. Talking about the medal table, TV Today Network won 61 Gold, 31 Silver and 19 Bronze medals in all categories in ENBA 2022 while ABP Network won 23 Gold, 25 Silver and 15 Bronze medals in all categories. Among other channels, Times Network won 32 medals in enba 2022, iTV Network won 25 medals overall, NDTV won 11 medals and Asianet News Network won 9 medals in various categories.

The title of News Channel of the Year (Hindi) went to three channels - Aaj Tak, ABP News and Times Now Navbharat. While Aaj Tak won the gold medal, ABP News won the silver medal and Times Now Navbharat won the bronze medal. In addition, the News Channel of the Year (English) award was given to India Today, Times Now and NewsX, which won Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively. The 'Business News Channel of the Year - English' award went to ET Now, while Sports Tak was adjudged the 'Best Sports Digital News Channel'.

Meanwhile, Aaj Tak's News Director Supriya Prasad won the gold trophy in the category 'News Television - News Director/Editor-in-Chief/Managing Editor/News Editor of the Year-(Hindi)', while Rahul Kanwal, Executive Director, Business Today and News Director, India Today and Aaj Tak, won the Gold Award in the category 'News Television - News Director/Editor-in-Chief/Managing Editor/News Editor of the Year (English)'.

In the 'Young Professional of the Year - Editorial - English' category, NewsX anchor and producer Aarti Kirushnan won the Gold Medal, while in the 'Young Professional of the Year - Editorial - Hindi' category, ABP News Trainee - News & Program Production Siddhi Vishal Sharma won the Gold Medal, Aaj Tak Anchor, Associate Editor, Ashutosh Chaturvedi won the Silver Medal and Anchor, Senior Associate Producer, Rajeev Dhoundiyal won the Silver Medal. Aaj Tak won the bronze medal for his excellent work and contribution.
