Ask yourselves, when you are in pain or in trouble, do you scream out the name of your mother first or god first ?

A mother is the perfect magnification of God on earth, she is the one who proves that there is a god.

She is a woman or even the mother of any animal or god or human or even a snake or an ant who care and loves her children so much that she can even give up her life for them.

If you don't believe me, see how a female dog who is a mother or even a cat protects her little one's and look into her eyes when anyone, human or animal tries to attack or steal her kids ...

I have had some great experiences with some of the greatest men who are always in love with their mothers and could kill any one , even their lovers and wives if they tried to harm or even speak against their mothers.

One of the greatest lovers of his mother was the great and great painter , M.F. HUSSAIN who lost no opportunity to raise his mother to the heights where they say God lives and rule.

He saw his mother in everything he did and towards the end of his life, he even saw his mother in Madhuri Dixit, he was once abused in the name of his mother by the manager of Madhuri and he didn't say a word but later told me he was never abused like that in his entire life and he only said that the man who abused him in the words "Teri Maa ka ..." Because Hussain was not game to give a break to one of the girls recommended by the manager.

When I look back now, I think Hussain Sahab must have cursed him in his own way.

Today that manager who bullied and behaved like God is nowhere,he has no job , his son who tried to be an actor has reached nowhere and his wife who tried to make it as a writer/ director mostly with the support of Hussain and his daughter who had high ambitions have got married to businessman and his youngest daughter has been trying to be a model/ actress is still groping in dark in her own spacious apartment which her father had bought when he literally owned Madhuri and made crores of rupees.

The same Madhuri who never a took a step without consulting her manager has I think realised the truth about him and has sacked him and his place has been taken by her husband, Dr. Sriram Nene who has given up his lucrative profession to be known as Madhuri's manager.

Next to Hussain, if I have known a man who almost worshipped his mother, it was DEV ANAND.

I had spent several evenings and nights with him and there was not one night that he never reminisced about his mother and even cried like a child ...

His contemporary and competitor, Mohammed Yusuf khan, who the world knows as Dilip Kumar never lost an opportunity to talk about his ( Beautiful mother who I always thought was a fairy and I cried the day she died like a little boy and I still cry when I see about that ethereal being).

He was known for having grand mushairas at his residence when he was a bachelor and most of his farmaishes were for poets to recite poems in honour of the mother.

Like the legend Khan (Dilip Kumar), the legends to be, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan (one son who misses his mother the most because it was her working hard as a petrol-seller in the streets after his father died when he was just 15 to give him a good education).

Salman Khan who has not one but two mothers to love him and pray for him, Salma Khan and Helen.

Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan have been grateful sons of their mothers and have set examples for the younger generations to follow.

But will the youth who have no time from looking at their mobiles and laptops have the time to show their love and concern for their mothers?

Dharmendra has always called his mother Mahan before he takes the name of God or his father or anyone who has played a vital role in his life.

A well known Marathi playwright Vijay Tendulkar, did not celebrate any festival , not even Diwali which he allowed his family to celebrate but he kept away from all the sound and fury of the celebration and spent the whole day in his room where he wrote and kept thinking about his mother.

The great poet Sahir Ludhianvi whose 100th anniversary is being observed by people who understood his poetry and even by those who didn't even know how to pronounce his name, had a weakness for women, but he always told the women he loved that they could never dream of taking the place of his mother.

He was brought up by his mother, because he said to have had a very cruel father.

My Guru, K.A Abbas was considered to be an emotional strong and courageous man and an atheist , but when it came to his mother,he too like Dev Anand could cry .

Javed Akhtar may have written poems about everything in the world, but he is always most emotional and eloquent when he writes about his own mother and mothers in general.

His father too, Jaan Nissar Akhtar had left him to his mother and settled down in Bombay and it was his mother who was also a poetess who encouraged and inspired him to write poetry.

Another poet who gets very sentimental when writing about the mother is Gulzar, but after he loyally ditched me once, I have developed some kind of a dislike for him and the dislike is so strong that I don't even believe in what he writes.

But all credit to him for writing great lines about mother's , so what if I a nobody doesn't like them.

Go back into history or google as it is mostly done these days as if Google is the ultimate word of God and find out and you will know that all those who have achieved greatness in any field of life have had this love for their mother which they have had with them till the end of their lives.

I can claim that I am a true worshipper of my mother because if she was not , I would not have been there and if she had not made the sacrifices she made to give me a proper education and gave me best nourishment, love and care , I would not have been what I am today.

There may be other kinds of mothers and you can read or listen to their wild stories everyday , but such mothers are something I would not like to even imagine .

I strongly believe that only very few mother's still have that feeling of being a mother in these turbulent days when mother's are trying to kill their children before they are born and some mother's even use their children to make a better living for themselves and by the way for their children.
