Saira was in love with her Sahaab even when she was in school abroad and had seen Aan in which she saw the man who she believed was a part of her destiny.

The whole country was in awe of Dilip Kumar and every girl and woman wanted him to be their life partner , but it was Saira who was the winner of the Shahenshah's heart and they got married even though there was a gap of 22 years between them .

It was a challenge for Saira to be the begum of the Shahenshah , there were ups and downs in their life together , but they have succeeded in living together and being in love with one another for the last 60 years.

And it is during the last 10 years that Saira has been living her life only for her Sahaab. And the way she has been taking care of his delicate health is not only admirable but also an example of how a wife has to take charge of a legendary husband when his body gives way and his health fails completely .

I believe that if there is a wife who deserves a very special award for being a good and great nurse who looks after her husband, it is undoubtedly Mrs Saira Khan , the begum of the Shahenshah who has been serving her husband like an angel whose good work can be seen and felt , she can give the angels in heaven a complex from which even god will not be able to save them.
