As I come to an end of my long and stormy journey of my life, I think, sorry I believe that my life is a bouquet of all the little and big and long journeys I have been a witness to - Ali Peter John

There have been the mighty and a lowly, the pops, pandits and philosophers and fakes, frauds and hollow men and women, people who have mattered to my life and who have just passed by my life like a whiff of bad and foul air and who have added fragrance to my life.

Every morning I walk out of my house with a bag to collect the stories of some fascinating, some adventurous, some believable and some unbelievable journeys.

Last afternoon, my bag of journeys was empty till it was tea time and then I knocked at the door of a young man called Rishabh Tandon who was living in a studio where he apparently worked on his music and as I settled down into one of his comfortable sofas, my mind told me that this man must be a good subject for my bouquet of journeys and as I sat talking to him for more than three hours in an apartment called "Jal Tarang" facing the sea, where I used to, in my teenage days go for a swim with my friends, his journey unfolded before me.

Rishabh has lived an adventurous life from the time he was a teenager in Noida. He was not very much into studies, but he knew that wanted to do something boys and young men his age did not dare to do.

His ambitions and his father's ambitions for him often were at a tangent, but he had the courage and confidence to pursue his own dreams and passions. And that made him experiment with one ambition after another like he even dabbled in the real estate business.

But he ultimately realised that he had music in him and was born and moulded for music and he came to Mumbai, the mecca of all dreamers and he was very soon a part of the sky of music and did a music album for T-series titled "Fir se wahi" which was a chartbuster and brought him both name and fame.

This success spurred him on to do another album "Aditya met Avantika" but his first of how play dirty game when his album exchanged hands between two leading music companies without even informing him. This incident caused an accident in his heart and he gave up music as his first love for quite some time.

But inborn love for music did not let him live in peace and he came back to the world of music with a new brand and a new name and called himself Fakeer. It is with this name, Fakeer came out with his first album "Ye ashiqi" of which he is the singer, the composer and the voice. He has a new girl Rosalyn D'suza as his romantic interest. This album which has been shot on a very levish hill by Zee music is due for release anytime now.

But the lover of music has a much more ambitious plan to keep the music that comes from the heart and soul alive. He has never done before planned to release a number of albums, episodes, videos and almost every genre of music on the digital platform.

When asked why he was opting for the digital platform, he said, "music that comes from the soul doesn't know any platform or any medium, it just flows". Rishabh's going into music in a bug way is going to open up new horizons for several new talents like singers, musicians , lyricists and technicians in the future.

And if you think Rishabh tandon is a young man who can let go life so easily, even has plan to make a film which will be called "Fakeer-life unlimited" and needless to say he will star in the film and be in command of all the sounds of the music of the film.

The film is based on a script by the veteran writer and director Dilip shukla and the cinematographer is the veteran award winner Kabeer Lal will supervise it's completion. Other details are being worked out very carefully at rishab's studio.

And at 9:15 pm that night, i was very happy to have found a young man who could keep my legacy as a lover alive and i handed my torch of the flame of love to rishab and drove away in his car with two of his men escorting me to ,my house.
