Hridaynath Mangeshkar is the only son of Dinanath Mangeshkar and the only younger brother of Lata Mangeshkar. The bond and love between Lata ji and Hridaynath Mangeshkar ji, is an immortal example of the sweet relationship between brother and sister. Apart from being the younger brother, he was also like a son to Lata ji.

Lata ji, throughout her life, used to share every happiness and sorrow with Hridaynath and used to take the opinion of her dear, dear, younger brother in all her important decisions of life.

Today, when Lata didi has become immortal by saying goodbye to this world, even then her younger brother is duly carrying out every vidhi and work taken posthumously of Lata didi who was like a mother to him, although he himself is now eighty-four years old.

In fact, a political controversy has erupted over the issue of the memorial of Bharat Ratna singer Lata Mangeshkar at the famous Shivaji Park in Mumbai.

Some leaders have demanded that Lata didi's memorial be built at Shivaji Park, while others have protested against the memorial.

Renowned musician and only younger brother of Lata didi, Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar, also known by all, as Balasaheb, expressed his views on this issue for the first time and urged all the leaders to stop the politics on the issue of Lata didi's memorial.

We don't want Lata didi's memorial in Shivaji Park." She is LATA DIDI OF THE WHOLE WORLD. She stays in the hearts of all. The void created by her demise is not only bigger than the sky but is larger than the living space.

Even if several rivers of the Ganges flow here, it will still not fill the void. Controversy is going on regarding Lata Mangeshkar's samadhi, there is no reason for Lata Mangeshkar family to be involved in this controversy, as we don't want Didi's memorial to be in Shivaji Park."

While consoling the people of Mumbai, and her millions of fans, Pandit Mangeshkar further said that "About having a memorial of Lata Didi in Shivaji Park, we are saying that all of us should stop the controversies being raised by the politicians who started this issue of the memorial of Didi in Shivaji Park.

Please don't do politics. The Maharashtra government has promised to set up a 'Lata Mangeshkar Sangeet Vidyalaya'. This request was made by Lata didi herself. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Minister Uday Samant and Minister Aaditya Thackeray gladly accepted this demand and they have also started all preparations.

Now as a music academy, Didi's Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, will be a memorial. The establishment of the International School of Music, will be a true tribute to Lata didi, there can be no greater monument than this.

There is no need to pay tribute, who is already revered. The passing of Lata Mangeshkar is not only the end of a musical festival, but the end of a musical era."
