She is Gioconda Vessichelli, the queen of opera, whose presence on stage is as mesmerizing as her inner beauty. I am one of those privileged people whom Gioconda loves for some reason or the other and I can say with confidence that she is much deeper than she seems to be. When someone claims to know her, it is only like scratching the tip of the iceberg. No one can know the Mysteries and secrets hidden within the iceberg. It is  Gioconda's extraordinary inner strength that truly sets her apart, she radiates with her beauty and grace wherever she goes. Gioconda's strong self-confidence is her strength. I often talk to her, wherever she is, whatever she is doing, even at 3 o'clock in the night, but for Mayapuri magazine, she is always ready to talk. I don't know when she sleeps? And When I ask her, I get the counter question, "First let me know when do you  sleep?" And her laughter seems like the sound of breaking glass. Chhaan chhan chhan, the tinkling of bells.

Gioconda Vessichelli is a global opera singer known as the queen of opera. Her performances are captivating, showcasing not only her talent but also her inner beauty. Despite getting to know Gioconda, I feel like there is so much more to her that remains a mystery. Her strength and grace shine outstanding through, making her truly extraordinary.

She has achieved a remarkable accomplishment, tour de force by merging opera and Indian music, creating the unique genre of Bollywood opera. She has earned numerous accolades, including the International Opera Award and the prestigious Bharatiya Mahila Puraskar, becoming the second non-Indian woman to receive this honor after Mother Teresa. Gioconda's songs have been released by many major Indian labels like T-Series and ZEE. In addition to being a singer, she is also a talented composer and songwriter, holding two music degrees from Santa Cecilia University of Rome.

Having learned from the legendary opera singer Luciano Pavarotti and performed as a vocalist for renowned composer Ennio Morricone, Gioconda has emerged an expert in vocal technique. She has also judged on the television show Zee, alongside Bappi Lahiri and Meenashi Sheshadri. Gioconda is frequently invited to conduct masterclasses on state television and also in universities worldwide, including Subhash Ghai's University in Mumbai.

I have had the opportunity to have regular conversations with Gioconda. Recently, on the day of Ganpati Visarjan, we had a long chat and discussion about various aspects of life. During our talk, she shared that she considers India as her spiritual mother and her strong belief is that she must have been an Indian in her previous birth. She said she had a profound spiritual experience in India while living with sadhus near the banks of the river Ganga, which led to her spiritual rebirth. This deep-rooted connection with India has inspired her to use her voice and blend it with Bollywood opera, aiming to show her gratitude towards the country that holds a special place in her heart forever.

Gioconda has been invited as a distinguished guest speaker to many inspirational programs, including 'Bol Raha Hai Bharat', both in India and also abroad. She is often called upon to participate as a speaker and moderator in conferences promoting women's empowerment. These conferences bring together influential women from various fields, such as space engineers, doctors, and social reformers. One example of such an event is "Women around the world."

During our interview, Gioconda Temperament was a delightful mix of mischief and laughter with naughty twinkling eyes. In addition to being a talented artist in multiple domains, Gioconda is also an expressive actress. She possesses a wide range of skills and talents, including being a musician, lyricist, and director, and she is also proficient in playing five musical instruments. She is also fluent in seven languages and has the remarkable ability to sing in twelve different languages.

Despite her many accomplishments, Gioconda has managed to maintain a sense of innocence and childlike wonder. She often mentions in her interviews that all these qualities combined with religion are still present within her who is the same person who used to be a child prodigy,  That's probably why she now often says with a mischievous smile in her interviews that she still has that child inside her...and with a playful giggle she says, "But I'm not pregnant".

This quality can also be attributed to geniuses like Leonardo da Vinci, the renowned painter of the Mona Lisa, who was able to balance seriousness with mischief and playfulness.

She fearlessly explores remote and inaccessible places such as high mountains, deep caves, and vast deserts, absolutely alone and without the need for external validation or recognition. These places are often inhabited by people who choose to stay isolated from the outside world and show hostility towards strangers. Only someone like Gioconda Vessichelli, who possesses a unique connection with the divine, can navigate such treacherous territories.

Gioconda Vessichelli is an extraordinary artist too, who excels in various fields. Her infectious laughter, twinkling eyes, and childlike innocence add charm to her personality. Gioconda shares that she relies on her intuition, often referred to as her "third eye" and "second brain," to carefully select the projects she takes on. When I asked curiously about the location of her second brain in her body, Gioconda mischievously with a wink responded, "It's below the waist, behind the clothes." (Ahh! That tinkling laugh again)

She believes in living life to the fullest and chooses projects that are enjoyable, surround her with happy colleagues, and align with her values. Unlike many other celebrities who prioritize money and fame at any cost and end up feeling depressed or resort to harmful behaviors, Gioconda focuses on her own happiness and well-being. She emphasizes the importance of giving back and prioritizes herself as an artist. This philosophy allows her to lead a fulfilling and beautiful life. We were immersed in deep talks when suddenly, Gioconda recalls something and, just like how an angel's time in human form comes to an end, and how the angel gets startled and disappears. Similarly, Gioconda suddenly announces that the time of the interview is over, and the sparkling, cristal water of her water villa in Maldives adorned with gleaming corals and fish, catches her attention. She dives deep into the water, disappearing like a mermaid. Gioconda has always had a love for snorkeling and diving, that's why she says "I am a mermaid."
