The 18th Jaipur International Film Festival (JIFF) 2026, scheduled to be held from 13 to 15 February 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, has officially announced its third (final) list of nominated films.

Earlier, the first list featured 221 films from 37 countries, while the second list included 119 films from 29 countries. With the announcement of the third list, JIFF 2026 has once again established itself as one of the most diverse and competitive film festivals in the world. The third nomination list comprises 51 films and 21 screenplays from 23 countries, selected from 387 international entries. The selections span multiple competitive categories, including Feature Fiction, Documentary Feature, Short Fiction, Documentary Short, Animation, Photography, Song/Music, Screenplay, and Student Films. Representing filmmakers from 23 countries, this selection reflects the festival’s strong commitment to artistic excellence, cultural diversity, and global cinematic dialogue.

The third list includes 18 Feature Fiction films, 7 Documentary Feature films, 16 Short Fiction films, 3 Documentary Short films, 3 Animation Short films, 3 Photography entries, 1 Song/Music Album, 21 Screenplays, and 1 Student Film.

This list includes 18 Feature Fiction films and 7 Documentary Feature films from India and various other countries, representing outstanding global cinema based on social, cultural, political, and human themes.

The third list features several notable Feature Fiction films from India and across the world. Some of the prominent selections include:
- “Debt to the Dead” by Mexican director Daniel Castro Zimbrón
- “Pinch” by Indian director Uttera Singh
- “Stay Fortel” by director Doran Vran (Israel/USA)
- “Maria Vitoria” by Portuguese director Mário Patrocínio
- “Romancing Sydney” by Australian director Anmol Mishra

At the 18th JIFF 2026, more than 1,000 film professionals—including filmmakers, directors, producers, writers, actors, and cinema experts—from over 50 countries will gather under one roof. This will be a first-of-its-kind occasion in India, witnessing such a large-scale convergence of global cinema.

The festival will feature over 600 films, including a significant number of Indian and World Premieres. Special screenings of internationally acclaimed and award-winning films will also be held.
The Red Carpet Opening Ceremony of JIFF 2026 will take place on 13 February 2026, followed by the grand Awards Ceremony on 14 February 2026. In addition, the festival will host workshops, seminars, panel discussions, and one-to-one dialogues, which are expected to play a decisive role in shaping the future of the film industry. JIFF Founder Director Hanu Roj stated, “The objective of JIFF 2026 is to provide a global platform for meaningful and powerful cinema, while also encouraging international collaboration among emerging filmmakers, writers, and producers.”
He further added that organizing the festival in New Delhi under the Global Cine Confluence, Delhi Film Convention & Summit 2026 is a significant step toward strengthening the global cinema movement.
