It is reported that between 13 January and 26 February, crores of people will take a dip in the confluence of 'Ganga-Jamuna-Saraswati'. This number is six crore more than a country like America. That is, in this cultural, religious, and spiritual fair going to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, the population of the entire America can be squeezed on the banks of the Sangam.

It has been shown many times on the screen of films that two real brothers or two friends get separated in the Kumbh Mela and then they meet in the climax. There have been films with plots that expand the story - 'Taqdeer' (1943), 'Adhikaar' (1954), 'Mela' (1971), 'Do Anjaane' (1976), 'Andaz Apna Apna' (1996), 'Soldier' (1998) etc. Manmohan Desai's films were based on the separation of brothers at a fair during childhood. That is, Kumbh Mela has been the reason for separation on screen for the film people. But in reality, the greatness of Kumbh is linked to the union where rivers like Ganga and Yamuna meet, which Raj Kapoor understood very well.

The Kumbh festival has religious, cultural, and geographical importance. Scholars and curious visitors from all over the world come here a month in advance and stay in camps. According to astrological calculations, the planet Jupiter completes its revolution around the Sun once in 12 years, then its effect affects water, climate, and everything. Jupiter is considered to be the factor of knowledge in spirituality. Days, months, and years are determined according to the position of the Sun, Moon, Jupiter, and Saturn. It is believed that when the Sun enters Capricorn in the month of Magha, then Gods, Demons, Kinnars, and Humans all take a bath in Triveni and feel pure. Geographically, Prayagraj, situated on the Tropic of Cancer, has a very pious and holy environment. The biggest Kumbh is organized in Prayagraj because two huge rivers Ganga and Yamuna originate from the Himalayas and meet at one place from two different paths. It is believed that the Saraswati River also resides under the earth there, which has also been accepted by NASA. People reach this confluence to take a bath, which is also called Triveni or Kumbh. Tulsidas has also written - "When Sun enters Capricorn in Magha, everyone comes to the pati. Gods, demons, Kinnars, and human beings come together with great respect in Triveni. Maha Kumbh is held in Prayagraj (earlier Allahabad) which is held every 12 years and is called the biggest Kumbh. Ardh Kumbh is held every six years and Kumbh is also organized every four years (in Ujjain, Nashik, Hardwar, and Prayagraj). This year's Maha Kumbh is going to last for 45 days from Makar Sankranti to Mahashivratri, in which lakhs of sadhus, sanyasis, Aghoris, Naga sanyasis, Hath Dharmi, Sadhaks and Kinnar- Sadhaks are arriving in different groups, mandals and akhadas to participate. There is already news of Niranjani Akhara, Anand Akhara, and 33 Maha Mandaleshwars reaching here. Many stars of Bollywood and the South film industry have already booked flight tickets and hotels to go there.

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh does not want to leave any stone unturned in providing facilities to an estimated 40 crore people. Preparations are going on at the war level. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi himself has gone to Prayagraj to inspect the preparations. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is visiting every week to see the preparations. Special trains are being run from all over the country to Prayagraj, plane connectivity has been increased. According to a report, 1.5 lakh tents have been set up on the 112 km long permanent ghat. 1.5 lakh permanent toilets have been built. Many hospitals have been built. 69 thousand LED lights, 25 thousand dustbins, 15 thousand sanitation workers, 2 lakh 69 thousand acres of land have been irrigated and 200 roads have been widened so that people do not face any problems. The government is ready for security. Artificial intelligence is also being used for security. Overall, in this biggest fair on earth, it is a time of meeting, a time of confluence, and a time to hoist the flag of national religion.
