In a heart-warming on-stage celebration full of divine vibes and spiritual fervour, popular lyricist-singer, and organizer Kavi Narayan Agrawal 'Das Narayan' unveiled two captivating bhajans and two soul-stirring mantras on the auspicious occasion of this year (2024) Janmashtami. This memorable launch at Juhu ISKCON auditorium was conducted in the presence of staunch Krishna-bhakt star-actress-classical danseuse-singer-M.P.Hema Malini, iconic music luminaries Anup Jalota, composer-flautist Hariprasad Chaurasia, Nitin Mukesh, composer Vivek Prakash and of course ISKCON (Kharghar) President Dr.Sura Das to be a musical offering. That transcends the ordinary, touching the hearts of millions of Hindu devotees, Krishna devotees, and devotional music lovers alike. At the launch event all the celebrities on stage were gifted with a beautifully sculpted small statue of Lord Krishna It was so inspiring and touching for everyone to observe Hema Malini’s sincere devotion towards Lord Krishna all thru the event. Speaking on the occasion, Hema-jee shared with the invited audience that “ this Sunday ( August 25th) a day before Janmashtami, Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi-jee would be inaugurating my new well-equipped modern cultural center new auditorium ‘Panchajanya’ in Mathura and I will also be performing Yashoda-Krishna ballet there,",” disclosed the charming evergreen Krishna-bhakt actress-classical danseuse and M.P.. Then Hema-jee also shared that ‘Panchajanya’ is the name of the sacred conch (shankha) used by Lord Krishna. The frank, candid Hema-jee also said, “Although I am an actress and a trained Bharata Natyam classical dancer, I am not a regular trained singer, But with the constant blessings of Lord Krishna and the active support and encouragement of all my talented legends-collaborators including Anup-jee, Pt Hari-jee, Nitin-jee, Vivek Prakash-jee, and Kavi Narayan-jee, who are sitting with me here on stage, I am able to sing and record these Krishna bhajans and chanting of mantras. In life I have always tried to grab new opportunities including my successful political career for past consecutive three terms and now this devotional singing. It is only with Lord Krishna’s help and blessings I am able to achieve my versatile missions with success.. As regards Nitin Mukesh, I must share that his legendary father Mukesh-jee had sung amazing playback songs for my screen-hero Raj Kapoor in my debut movie ‘Sapnon Ka Saudagar’ (1968). Many years later his son Nitin Mukesh sang a very popular playback duet song ‘Zindagi Ki Na Toote Ladi’ (with Lata-Didi) in my super-hit musical movie ‘Kranti’(1981),”, shared Hema Malini with nostalgic emotion.
