A heartfelt musical tribute to the people who protect our city every day

Sonu Nigam paid a special tribute to the Mumbai Police through music. He performed the song 'Ghar Kab Aaoge' from the upcoming film 'Border 2' to honour the brave officers who serve the city day and night.

After the grand launch of the song at Longewala Tanot in Jaisalmer, Sonu Nigam brought the emotional feel of the song to Mumbai. The evening started with a touching musical tribute. Police officers shared their thoughts about their homes, families, and achievements. It was a very emotional moment.

The Mumbai Police Band first played the instrumental tune of the song 'Hindustan' from 'Border 2'. This created an atmosphere of pride and deep emotions. Then Sonu Nigam joined them on stage to perform 'Ghar Kab Aaoge'. The song touched everyone’s heart, especially those officers who stay away from their families for long periods while serving the city.

This moment became a strong expression of gratitude. It honoured their sacrifice, strength, and the spirit behind the uniform. After this patriotic musical evening, Sonu Nigam also formally honoured the Mumbai Police. The program ended with a march past by the police officers.

'Border 2' is directed by Anurag Singh. The film stars Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Medha Rana, Sonam Bajwa and Anya Singh.

The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series in association with J.P. Dutta’s J.P. Films. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. Directed by Anurag Singh, this film is a story of bravery and patriotism.

'Border 2' will release in cinemas on 23 January 2026.
