Aamir Khan Hosts Celebration for Siddharth P Malhotra's 'Maharaj' Success

Siddharth P. Malhotra is basking in the success of his recent directorial 'Maharaj'. The filmmaker has been celebrating the acclaims it garnered post its release on a leading OTT platform. Joining him in celebrating the success of 'Maharaj' is Aamir Khan, who hosted an intimate party recently to celebrate the response to the Siddharth P Malhotra directorial, which marked Junaid Khan's acting debut. Some of the pictures that have surfaced on the internet are of Director Siddharth P Malhotra, Aamir Khan, Junaid Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Shalini Pandey among others.

Junaid Khan Shines in 'Maharaj': Malhotra Praises His Performance

'Maharaj' saw Junaid Khan play the lead role of Karsandas Mulji, while Jaideep received immense praise for his act as Jadunath Maharaj. Previously, Malhotra praised Junaid Khan’s performance, saying, “Junaid truly embodies the saying, ‘A fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.’ His work ethic and acting prowess clearly reflect the influence of his father [Aamir Khan].” He also mentioned in an interview that Irrfan Khan was the first choice to play Jaideep's role.

In its debut week, ‘Maharaj’ has topped the top 10 charts in India and secured the number one spot in 22 other countries. It marked Malhotra’s return to directing after the previous blockbuster, ‘Hichki’.
