Aamir Khan's son Junaid will make his Bollywood debut with 'Maharaj'

No drums, no baja... Maharaj's ride is on! Contrary to expectations, Aamir Khan's son's film will start with a lot of uproar. All the newspapers and magazines will be full of Maharaj's pictures. A teaser poster of the film has been released in which a side picture shows that this is Junaid, along with an equally big picture of co-actor Jaideep Ahlawat. This is the first glimpse of a film that is not being released in any theatres, but it is being released on OTT. Aamir Khan's elder son Junaid Khan's debut film 'Maharaj' is going to stream on the OTT platform Netflix from June 14, 2024.

Junaid Khan is Aamir Khan's son from his first wife Reena Dutta. Since Aamir Khan is a perfectionist, it can be thought that what is missing in his son's launch pad? And why was there no plan to release the film in theatres? Whatever it is, Junaid is coming on screen as an actor in this film made by Yash Raj Production. It can be said that another star is starting his acting innings in Bollywood. The stars of 'Maharaj' are Junaid Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari Wagh, Shalini Pandey, etc. Some time ago, there was a buzz that Aamir Khan was shooting abroad with his son Junaid along with South star Sai Pallavi. Sai Pallavi is in the news these days for playing the role of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari's film 'Ramayan', so there is a buzz about her presence in 'Maharaj'. However, the film 'Ek Din' with Sai Pallavi and Junaid can also become news in the coming days.

'Maharaj' has been produced under Yash Raj Production. Producer Aditya Chopra and Netflix have signed a three-film deal, in which apart from Maharaj, one film is Anupam Kher's 'Vijay 69' and one film is 'Mandla Murders' with Vaani Kapoor. 'Maharaj' is directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra. Siddharth has previously given films like 'We Are Family' and 'Hichki' which are technically considered to be very good films. 'Maharaj' is written by Vipul Mehta and Sneha Desai. The story of this film is being told that there is a fight between a powerful man and a fearless journalist. This story is inspired by the Maharaja Libel case of 1862, in which a newspaper was sued for the rape and harassment of the followers of a religious leader. Junaid Khan is playing the role of journalist Karsan Das Mulji in this film.

Junaid Khan is starting his career with an OTT film, which could be the right decision considering the falling market of cinema houses and the expanding business of OTT these days. But, as far as Junaid is concerned, he has started production along with acting. One of the films being produced by him is 'Preetam Pyare' - in which Aamir Khan is also in a cameo role. It is a big truth that another star is arriving in Bollywood in the form of Junaid. He is the son of Aamir Khan, the Aamir Khan who never leaves anything incomplete. A song from his first film has become a slogan...' Papa Kahte Hain Bada Naam Karega!' His son Junaid will make his debut in Bollywood.
