Article 370 is a collaboration between Jio Studio and B62 Production. The producers are Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar. Yami Gautam, Priya Mani, Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth Shah, Raj Zutshi, Sumit Kaul, Raj Arjun, Asit Gopinath Redij, Ashwani Kumar, and Irawati Harshe Mayadev will be seen in the film. The film has been directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale. The film will be released in theaters on 23 February 2024.

The film's heroine Yami Gautam is going to become a mother for the first time, and on this occasion, her husband and the film's producer Aditya Dhar were also present. When Yami started climbing the stage, Aditya lovingly held her hand and helped her climb the stairs. Aditya was walking with Yami as her support. During this event, another very cute moment was seen, the video of which is going viral everywhere. During the event, Aditya brought a pillow and gave it to Yami so that Yami could sit comfortably and not have any problems. Seeing this kind of love and care, everyone is just giving love and blessings to this couple who are going to be new parents.

During the trailer launch of the film, Yami talked about what this film means to her. She said, “It's been a long time since I've been working in this industry and if I can share those years of hard work, hope, and disappointment with anything if I define it, this film will be Article 370. This film means a lot to me.”

In this film, you are seen doing action, and the way you have handled the weapons, is it possible that you are an intelligence agent, in response to which Yami says, “No one had ever offered me such a role before. Or maybe I have not shown this talent of mine on my Instagram.” She further says, “Have taken training for this professionally. I am thankful to Colonel Keshvendra Singh and Bhushan Sir, who told us about the military and how to handle weapons. I really enjoyed working on this film.”

Tell us something about how this action political drama started.

Aditya Suhas Jambhale- This film is my first film as a director. This film is about the implementation of Article 370. This mission was secret, and this mission had to be completed without anyone knowing. And the most important thing is that this mission was completed peacefully without any innocent loss of life or any bullets being fired. When Aditya and I started researching this, we realized that there is drama in it and there is so much information about which the public has no idea. People do not know how Article 370 was removed. People hesitate in doing political films in India but this does not happen in Western films. We wanted to make a film which had everything, and the entire crew and cast of the film helped us a lot in this.

How real is this film going to be?

Aditya Suhas Jambhale- The film is going to be very authentic because we have done a lot of research on it. We have also paid attention to small details. We have done as much as we could to add to the cinematic experience.

This is a family film, you are making a new beginning as a producer and also as a family, would you like to say something about it?

Aditya Dhar- This film is a family film, my brother is also in it, and my wife is also there and we are also going to become parents. It was during this film that we came to know about the baby, and we are very happy. Soon you will know whether the baby is Lakshmi or Ganesh.

You are working with Yami for the second time, how was the experience of working?

Aditya Dhar- It was very good. We used to have discussions on the set and I used to get scolded at home (Jokingly). She was a pleasure to work with, she is very professional and knows what she is doing. She is a very good person, she understands her work very well. She worships every day, no matter what. I consider myself very lucky that I married Yami and also got the opportunity to work with her.

The name of your production company is B62, what does it mean?

Lokesh Dhar- This is the address where our parents got married and Aditya and I were born and grew up. This place is in Delhi where I have spent 12 to 13 years of my life and Aditya has spent 7 to 8 years. The theater on one side of this house was named Sapna and the theater on the other side was named Alankar. Every Sunday, our parents used to take us to watch movies in one of these theaters, and from there our love for movie parties grew. I was in the film business in the US for 20 years and when Aditya made Uri in 2019, we came into this industry again.

Tell us something about the kind of things that happened while making a film on Article 370.

Lokesh Dhar- This is a very personal film for us. We are Kashmiri Pandits. Our family was affected by whatever was happening there. It was not that when Article 370 came, we started thinking about making this film, rather we kept talking about whatever was happening there. We have worked a lot on this script, we wanted it to be a perfect film, and we have tried our best for it.

The issue of Kashmir has been going on for the last 75 years, so are you focusing only on Article 370 or will you show about other issues in the film?

Aditya Dhar- I would say that you watch the film first.

Yami- The film is hidden in this question.

Aditya Dhar- The film is about a little bit of everything from where and how all this started and what problems happened because of it, you will get to see all these things in the film.

How difficult or easy was it to work with your husband for this film?

Yami- You have just seen how easy it is to work with them. We both are very professional people and respect each other's professional boundaries. Working with him was not difficult at all. If he had not been there at such a sensitive time, I don't know what I would have done. This is our first home-production film. If intentions are clear then everything goes well.

Are you as passionate about this film and feel the same way as the entire team of this film?

Priyamani- Yes, I feel special that I am a part of such a film. I would like to thank Aditya Dhar who called me personally and told me about this film. He told me about the story of this film. As he said destiny should be right and I also believe in the same thing and that is why I chose to be a part of this film. I am very happy that I am a part of this film.

When you play such a powerful character, there is a responsibility on you, so how do you prepare for such a character?

Yami- If I talk about Article 370, I am playing the character of Juni Haksar and Juni is a Kashmiri girl and an intelligence officer. I do this thing with every film of mine. I am very conscious about my script, I believe that all the questions lie in the script itself and Aditya had told me at the time of Uri when I was very worried about the character how should I prepare for it, then he told me It was said that if the script is good then you will get answers to all your questions in that script itself. I am a bit old school, so I make notes in the script itself and highlight it.

Aditya Dhar- Its script is full of notes. There is not even a little space left in its script. She keeps every little thing written in her script.
