Amisha Patel's Catfights with Actresses, Including Kareena Kapoor

Today is the birthday of Ameesha Patel, who became famous in Bollywood with the films Gadar and Kaha Na Pyar Se. The actress has crossed the age of 48 years. However, she is famous not only for films but also for her catfights with many heroines in Bollywood. In which her fight with Kareena Kapoor Khan was quite famous. It started with one film Kaho Naa Pyar Hai becoming popular and it made Ameesha an overnight star, however, many blamed it on fate as she was not the original choice, Kareena Kapoor was supposed to debut opposite Hrithik Roshan but Bebo chose Refugee opposite Abhishek Bachchan, while some said it was due to her failed relationship with Hrithik, others claimed that mother Babita felt Refugee would have been a better launch for her daughter, but Babita was proven wrong. Kaho Naa... became a huge hit and despite Hrithik taking all the credit, Ameesha was noticed and appreciated, Bebo was not very generous towards the actress and she was tagged as 'just a replacement'

This obviously did not go down well with Ameesha and she quipped, “I never had any animosity with Kareena. Maybe she could not handle the success of the film that she left.” Ouch! The outspoken Kareena did not take this taunt quietly. She told a leading magazine, “The film is very successful so if I had worked in it I would definitely have become a star but I don't know if I want to be labelled as just a star. I would like to be known as an actress and that would not have been possible if I had done 'Maine Kaho Naa', the film was made for Hrithik. His father spent five hours on every frame and close-up. There are some portions where Ameesha has pimples on her face and bags under her eyes. She does not look pretty. If I had been in the film I would definitely have got a better deal but I still feel the attention would have been divided between us so I am glad I did not do the film.

Priyanka Chopra

Let us tell you that Ameesha Patel had allegedly made a nasty comment on Priyanka Chopra. During the making of 'Aap Ki Khatir', Ameesha had a small rift with Priyanka Chopra. According to a source from the sets of the film, Ameesha made some nasty comments about Priyanka's fitness. When PC heard this, the actress demanded that she be put up in a different hotel. When the media spoke to Ameesha, she completely denied this and said, "This is not true! There is no difference of opinion between us. I love to read during my free time and Priyanka is a health freak. We hardly get time to bond, so where is the question of fighting?"
