And as always it was once again a super performance in his amazing career.
Amit Kumar is not only just a well-known figure in Indian music but he is a part of a long-standing music tradition. He was born on July 3  1952  as the son of the famous Kishore Kumar who was one of the most adored male singers in Bollywood history.

Amit Kumar is a legend in the Indian music world, he comes from a world-famous family of legendary singers and legend actors. Amit Kumar was born on July 3, 1952, and his father is the well-known world-famous singer Kishore Kumar who is loved by music lovers all over the world.

Amit has become well-known in the music industry for his talents as a singer, music director lyricist, and performer. His smooth voice, amazing performance, memorable shows, and love for music have made him popular with fans worldwide.

Amit was raised in a family where music is a way of life. He was breathing in the songs and music of his father  Kishore Kumar who was (and is) a famous singer who also acted, directed wrote, and produced movies. Because of this musical background,d it was expected that Amit would pursue a career in music like his father.

He began singing when he was very young. He first sang as a child in the Durga Puja festival in Kolkata and other local events where people quickly noticed his very rich unique voice and his way of singing. At a special event hosted by the famous Bengali actor Uttam Kumar, the audience was surprised to see little Amit Kumar singing, the boy with an amazing voice.

Father Kishore Kumar recognized the talent in his child and brought him to Mumbai. They worked together on two movies  'Door Gagan Ke Chhaon Mein' and 'Door Ka Rahi'. In one of the songs, Amit sang 'Main Ek Panchhi Matwala'  which unfortunately got edited out. However, musicians recognized the potential in Amit's voice during that time.

Amit Kumar made a name for himself in the music industry in the 1970s  80s  and 90s. His songs like "Nazar lage na saathiyon " "Aati rahengi baharen " "Teri yaad aa rahi " and many others became very popular during that time. Amit has a unique talent for conveying strong feelings through his singing which has made him very popular with audiences. He is known for his versatility as a singer whether he is performing romantic songs or upbeat dance tracks. Unlike many other singers, Amit does not constantly seek out opportunities to work with big music producers. Instead, he chooses to collaborate only with those music directors he admires and who provide him with songs that match his level of talent. That is called attitude. His preferred composers include RD Burman  Laxmikant Pyarelal and Jatin Lalit.

After RD Burman passed away  Amit Kumar began taking on fewer songs. He believes that best-quality songs are not being made nowadays. Nowadays he is very busy creating his own music so he doesn't have time to listen to old or new movie songs. He sings for movies if he only gets really good opportunity. He does live shows in different countries and makes the audience excited by singing his own songs and popular songs from his or his father's movies. Recently he sang 'Bandhu Re' for Mithun Chakraborty in a Bengali film by Raj Chakraborty. He is willing to sing Hindi movie songs as long as it's a great opportunity.
