First Track of Mai Melbourne: Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman has introduced the first track of the much-awaited Anthology My Melbourne. This song called Rukhna is a celebration of empowerment and unity through music. The song is sung by Afghan composer Aryana Saeed, who is making her debut in Hindi with this song. Aryana, known for her broad work in activism for women's rights in Afghanistan, is currently settled in London.

Anthology Mai Melbourne, with four compelling stories directed by Kabir Khan, Imtiaz Ali, Onir, and Reema Das, discovers human relations, flexibility, and identity against the lively, multicultural background of Melbourne. Inspired by true events, the film throws light on the subjects of breed, gender, sexuality, and disability, providing an authentic lens in various communities of the city.

Prepared for release in India on 14 March 2025, Mai Melbourne brings together the creative vision of four famous Indian filmmakers, each of which contributes a unique story that displays the power of inclusion and cultural identity.
