Arjun Bijlani’s Father-in-law Passes Away, Wife Neha Swami Breaks Down at the Funeral

On New Year’s Day itself, mourning descended upon the home of Rise and Fall winner and well-known TV actor Arjun Bijlani. His father-in-law, Rakesh Chandra Swami, breathed his last. The heartbreaking loss deeply affected Arjun’s wife, Neha Swami. During her father’s last rites, Neha was seen crying inconsolably, and the visuals and videos from the funeral left everyone emotional.

As soon as they received the news, Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swami reached Mumbai on Tuesday and were seen standing strong with the family during this difficult time. Reportedly, the incident was completely sudden, leaving the entire family in shock.

A close family member revealed, “He was absolutely fine. He was about to have dinner when he suddenly suffered a stroke. He was immediately rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where he was put on a ventilator. The entire family is in shock, as Neha and Arjun had met him just before leaving for their flight. It was a sudden blow, and we are all still trying to come to terms with it.”

The Couple Was on a New Year Vacation

When the unfortunate incident occurred, Arjun and Neha were in Dubai celebrating the New Year holidays. However, upon receiving the news, they cut short their trip and immediately returned to Mumbai to be with the family in this tough phase.

Arjun Was Very Close to His Father-in-law

Rakesh Chandra Swami is survived by his son Nishank Swami and daughter Neha Swami, who is married to Arjun Bijlani. Arjun shared a very close bond with his father-in-law, especially since his own father had passed away years ago. This made the loss deeply personal and emotionally overwhelming for him as well.
