-Sharad Rai South Indian film director, new generation filmmaker Atlee Kumar, who came into the news after directing Shahrukh Khan's very successful film 'Jawaan' last year, is busy these days promoting his film 'Baby John' along with the film's hero Varun Dhawan and other artists by meeting the media and other influential online mediums. Recently, he shared a new style of promotion on Kapil Sharma's Laughter Show. The interesting thing was that he made his point by narrating a story, he said- 'Whenever you make a promise to someone, fulfill it.' The story was about a wealthy businessman whose negligence led to the death of a poor man. The rich man saw a beggar sitting at the gate of his estate, shivering in the cold. He was wearing very thin clothes and a cold wind was blowing. He got down from his car and asked the beggar if he had any warm clothes. On hearing no, he said, "I will bring a blanket for you." On going home, he saw the tense atmosphere of his house, the stale food, the child and went to sleep. In the morning, when he woke up, he remembered the beggar shivering in the cold. He went outside with a blanket and found that the poor man had died. The moral of the story is that do not make a promise to anyone, if you make one, then fulfill it. If that poor man had not been given hope, he could have probably avoided his struggle. He died waiting for the promise. Atlee is one of those directors whose every film has an underlying meaning in its story. 'Jawan' was one such Hindi film. His first Tamil film 'Raja Rani' had a message. 'Theri' (which inspired 'Baby John'), 'Mersal', 'Bigil' also had a message. Atlee Kumar believes that the message given through cinema has a greater impact on people. He is in favor of conveying life-related messages through entertainment and action thriller films. He believes that your wife, mother, father, all of them are connected to you. It should not happen that you associate an outsider with yourself, trust him, or break his trust. 'Baby John' is a film based on Atlee's story which he has directed through his associate Kalees. The film has an underlying message of staying safe from the situation and standing strong when the situation gets out of control. Indeed, Atlee's way of promotion is different. He does not directly say come and watch my film. His way of saying is different.
