During the teaser launch, Varun Dhawan showered praise on Diljit Dosanjh from the stage. Giving him a special shoutout, Varun said that Diljit has worked extremely hard for the film and is portraying a Param Vir Chakra (PVC) awardee in ‘Border 2’.

Varun added, “He has poured his blood and sweat into this film. He is also playing a PVC role, and I want to thank everyone on his behalf as well.”

“Sunny Deol Is My Childhood Hero,” Says Varun

Varun Dhawan also revealed that he was extremely nervous when the film’s shoot began. He shared that Sunny Deol’s presence on set gave him confidence and comfort. Varun said that Sunny Deol has always been his childhood hero and that he had watched the film ‘Border’ multiple times in theatres. Performing his first scene with Sunny made him emotional, and the child inside him felt truly happy.

Ahan Shetty Shares His Father’s Advice

During the ‘Border 2’ event, Ahan Shetty spoke about the advice he received from his father, actor Suniel Shetty, before signing the film. During the teaser launch, producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed that the iconic song “Sandese Aate Hain” will also be part of ‘Border 2’. He stated that the soul of the song has been kept intact while giving it a contemporary touch.

“We’ve kept the song very close to the original. This time, additional singers have also lent their voices, but the emotional essence remains unchanged,” Kumar said.

Bhushan Kumar further revealed that the song will be officially launched on January 2 at Longewala, in the presence of the Indian Armed Forces. When Will ‘Border 2’ Release?
