Born on 23rd February 1969 in Sangli, Maharashtra, Bhagyashree belongs to a royal family. She is the daughter of Vijay Sinhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan and Rajlakshmi Patwardhan. Known for her simplicity and graceful personality, Bhagyashree made a mark in every role she played despite doing fewer films. Blockbuster Debut with Maine Pyar Kiya

Her daughter Avantika Dasani began her acting career in 2022 with the ZEE5 psychological thriller web series Mithya, sharing the screen with Huma Qureshi. She later appeared in the film U Shape Ki Gali, which marked her Bollywood debut.
