'Bhaiya Ji Superhit' will be re-released on 10th April 2025. Let's know why it is so special.

The comedy movie 'Bhaiya Ji Superhit' starring Sunny Deol and Arshad Warsi's ' will be re-released on the 10th of April 2025. It is an action-comedy zoner film, in which apart from  Sunny Deol, Arshad Warsi, top stars like Preity Zinta, Ameesha Patel and Shreyas Talpade is part of the film . Directed by Neeraj Pathak, this story has mixture of gangsters and Bollywood's dream world with some fun mess. Originally released in 2018, the film will now be re-released on April 10, 2025.

The story revolves around Laal Bhaisaab Dubey fondly called as 3D, played by Sunny Deol. He is a dreaded gangster from Varanasi who has everything under his control, and everyone considers him a dangerous gangster, except his estranged wife Sapna Dubey, played by Preity Zinta. Now there is a twist in the tale- he is very fond of his wife Sapna Dubey. Sapna left him because she was annoyed with his dangerous lifestyle. This leaves 3D heartbroken and he desperately wants to get her back. 3D is too confused to handle his personal and professional life together . To get his wife back and impress her and show her that he can change, he decides to make a film based on a love story. Now, here things get really interesting. He teams up with Goldie Kapoor, and as soon as they start working on the film, all hell breaks loose. 3D has no idea how to act or what goes into making a film. He tries to channel the hero within him, but the situation turns hilarious. The film also features Mallika, played by Ameesha Patel, a glamorous actress brought in to play Sapna's character in his film. The chemistry between these characters creates some really funny moments, Goldie is played by Arshad Warsi. Goldie is a director who is always looking for his big break in Bollywood, but is quite a con man. He is accompanied by flop writer Tarun Porno Ghosh, played by Shreyas Talpade. Tarun dreams of fame, but often gets caught up in Goldie's crazy ideas. This strange decision leads to hilarious results when 3D struggles with acting while facing huge challenges posed by his enemy Helicopter Mishra (Jaideep Ahlawat) and wife Sapna (who dislikes Mallika).

The making of "Bhaiya Ji Superhit" was as interesting as its story. Arshad Warsi was chosen for the role of the director especially because of his wonderful comic timing and his chemistry with Sunny Deol. Actually The idea of bringing these two actors together was Arshad's own, who wanted to create another famous pair after his successful pairing with Sanjay Dutt in the "Munnabhai" series. Director Neeraj Pathak made sure that every character was crafted perfectly as per the script.

In this film, Sunny Deol took up the challenge of playing a double role for the first time in his career. Behind the scenes of "Bhaiyaji Superhit", there were many funny stories and memorable moments. Sunny Deol had to step out of his comfort zone to play this unique comedy role.

The team enjoyed many light moments during filming the shots, especially when Sunny made attempts to deliver those dramatic Bollywood-style dialogues, which was not his cup of tea till then. This made the atmosphere entertaining, given his tough-guy image.

This film was also being marked as Preity Zinta's return to the big screen movie after a long hiatus. Her chemistry with Sunny made their on-screen relationship even more stronger. She would many times bring home-cooked food for everyone during breaks, making everyone feel like a happy family.

The production of this cinema has seen quite a lot of ups and downs from the time it was first announced in 2011. Many people may not know that apart from well-known actors like Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, Arshad Warsi, the cast also had included Tusshar Kapoor and Prakash Raj, and the film was planned to release in 2012. But things did not go as smoothly as things were expected.

In May 2012, there were reports that the director had sought Subhash Ghai's help to carry on the film's shoot as the producers of the movie were not willing to spend more than ₹6 crore on the film's budget. There were also rumours that the film was even being shelved at this stage,
but both the cast and the director later denied these claims. Ghai himself clarified that he was not involved in the making of the film.

In this film Sunny Deol's role is particularly interesting as he plays a double role. After several years of delay, (almost four years) the project finally resumed shooting in July 2015 and was slated for release in October 2018. Now, Bhaiya Ji Superhit is making a comeback with its re-release on April 10, 2025. The excitement around the film has grown high tremendously over time and fans are eager to see what the action-comedy has in store for them now that it is back on screen.
