Bhojpuri actress and singer Akshara Singh is all set to win hearts with her new song 'Jogira Sa Ra Ra'. In connection with this, she recently launched the teaser of the song alongside actor Vishal Aditya Singh, bringing festive cheer just in time for Holi.

Akshara Singh, a well-known actress and singer in the Bhojpuri industry, has won the hearts of millions with her acting and singing. Now, she is back to steal even more hearts with her latest song 'Jogira Sa Ra Ra'. In this Holi-themed track, she is joined by popular TV actor and Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Vishal Aditya Singh.

On Tuesday, February 25, Akshara and Vishal held a press conference to promote their song 'Jogira Sa Ra Ra'. During the event, they launched the song teaser and answered questions from the media.

The press conference began with an energetic dance performance by Akshara and Vishal. Following the performance, Akshara shared details about the song, revealing that it features two Biharis coming together for the first time. "I’m really happy that Vishal took the time to be a part of this song," she said. She further mentioned that while the song’s lyrics are in Hindi, the flavor and essence are rooted in the culture of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Vishal Aditya Singh's Thoughts

Vishal Aditya Singh expressed his excitement about the project, saying, "I was really looking forward to this song. Akshara and I are both from Bihar, and we’re young. We wanted to create something where we could work together. When I heard the song, I knew it was perfect for us."

When asked about their collaboration and how the duo clicked with audiences, Akshara explained, "When I first came up with this song, I was in the studio. As soon as it was time to think about who should feature in the song, Vishal’s face immediately came to mind. I called him, and he agreed right away."

She continued, "As a producer, you always feel a bit nervous when creating a new song, wondering whether it will be successful or not. So, I decided to play it for Vishal, and he loved it. After that, we went on set, and the experience was amazing. By the way, we shot this song in Banaras, and it was so much fun."

Vishal added, "Akshara and I had talked about collaborating on a song before, but it didn’t work out then. Now, I’m glad it did. I also want to mention that Akshara’s mother is one of my favorite actresses, and we get along really well. I thought this collaboration would be refreshing for me. I’ve mostly worked in Hindi, but Akshara is a big star in UP-Bihar. I’ve known her for a while, and doing this song together felt like the right move. It’s like when you’re living abroad, and you miss your home country's festivals — that’s how I felt about this song."

Celebrating Holi

When asked how they celebrate Holi, Vishal shared, "I celebrate Holi with my friends. If bhang is available, I drink it and then enjoy some good food before sleeping. Festivals are best enjoyed with loved ones."

Akshara, on the other hand, shared, "I don’t like working or staying in Mumbai during Holi. I prefer to celebrate it the way I did as a child. I usually go to Patna, Banaras, or Vrindavan. If I meet some friends in Mumbai, that’s great, but the real fun of Holi is in Purvanchal."

Thoughts on the Bhojpuri Industry

During the event, Vishal also spoke about the potential of the Bhojpuri industry, saying, "I believe that the Bhojpuri industry can do a lot of great work. Our cinema will take some time, but it will get there." Akshara added, "If big names and investments come into our industry, it will thrive even more. If people who have already made their mark reduce their fees, it will be a huge step forward."

On the Bhojpuri Language

On the subject of Bhojpuri, Vishal said, "Bhojpuri is such a beautiful language. You just need the confidence to speak it. Hindi-speaking regions are among the biggest fans of Hindi-language songs." Akshara shared, "Many of my friends who live in Mumbai still use Bhojpuri when we meet."

During the event, Vishal also treated the audience by singing a few lines from 'Jogira Sa Ra Ra'.

For those who don't know, Akshara Singh and Vishal Aditya Singh’s song 'Jogira Sa Ra Ra' will be released on February 27. The song has been beautifully sung by Akshara Singh and Sugam Singh, with lyrics penned by Chotu Yadav and music composed by Lakshmikant LK.
