'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' Press Conference: she is not just a dancer but...

At a press conference held at Mumbai's Opera House, the song "Aami Je Tomar 3.0" from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' was unveiled. The event featured an impressive classical dance performance by Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan, which heightened audience excitement for the film's release on the big screen. This is the first major Hindi film song featuring two leading actresses dancing together since "Dola Re Dola."

Vidya Balan, dressed in a black saree that perfectly embodied her character Manjulika, and the "Dhak Dhak Girl" Madhuri Dixit, in a green lehenga and purple choli, set the stage on fire. Karthik Aaryan, the film's lead actor, was seen in an off-white kurta-pajama.

 After their captivating performance, the film’s cast, including producer Bhushan Kumar and director Anees Bazmee, shared behind-the-scenes stories and answered media questions.

Karthik Aaryan's Dream Come True

Karthik expressed his joy at sharing the screen with Madhuri and Vidya, calling it a "dream come true." He mentioned how excited he was about the film and the song, teasing that audiences would see much more in the full dance number.

The Impact of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'

Anees Bazmee reflected on how 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2' rejuvenated Bollywood post-COVID, stating that the film brought hope during a tough time when many movies were failing. Bhushan Kumar, who held onto the film for a long time, believed it deserved a theatrical release, which ultimately proved successful with audiences.

Vidya’s Hesitation with 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'

Regarding her absence from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,' Vidya revealed that she was initially hesitant due to her fear of disappointing fans after the success of the first film. Bhushan Kumar shared that he had approached her for the sequel, but she declined. However, her interest in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' was reignited once she read the script.

Anees Bazmee on Madhuri and Vidya

Anees Bazmee shared his thoughts on Madhuri and Vidya's collaboration, particularly regarding the song "Aami Je Tomar" from 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 1.' He acknowledged the challenge of bringing that vision to life in the script, stating, "When we decided to do this song, we knew it would require a lot of hard work. I wanted this song to be loved by people. With Madhuri and Vidya, there's no one better for this film, and the way it has been shot is truly worth watching."

Vidya added, "I was eager to work with Anees Bhai and Bhushan. The film kept getting better and better. Of course, Karthik Aaryan was there, and I loved 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.' And then having Madhuri Dixit on board made it even more special, which gave me the courage to take this leap. Anees Bazmee is the king of entertainment."

Vidya's Respect for Madhuri

Vidya Balan spoke highly of Madhuri Dixit, stating that she is not just a dancer but a dance icon in her own right. Performing alongside her is both a privilege and an honor for Vidya.

She further mentioned that sharing the dance stage with Madhuri was not an easy task. Vidya had to match every step of Madhuri, which posed a significant challenge. For Vidya, sharing the stage with an actress she grew up admiring was a moment of great pride and an achievement in itself.

Vidya Balan shared her admiration for Karthik Aaryan, saying, "When I saw Karthik in 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety,' I started paying attention to him. He is always involved in his performances as well as promotions; it seems like he never takes a break. Karthik works extremely hard, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him."

Madhuri Dixit also praised Karthik, noting that he brings many ideas to the scenes and works with great awareness and focus.

Karthik Aaryan praised Shiv Channa from T-Series, saying, "He speaks less, but his work speaks volumes."

Meanwhile, Manu Anand remarked that everything is thanks to Sharad's set, adding, "If it weren't for his setup, my lighting and camera wouldn't work as well."

'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3' is set to hit theaters on November 1, and anticipation among audiences is high. Director Anees Bazmee is confident the film will be a major hit, despite competing against Ajay Devgn's 'Singham Again' at the box office. He believes both films will perform excellently.
