The Bihar Film Conclave 2024, organized for the first time by the Department of Art and Culture (Government of Bihar) on 18 October 2024 at Hotel Taj in Patna, concluded with great enthusiasm. The conclave was inaugurated by Chief Guest Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, MP and actor Manoj Tiwari, MP and actor Ravi Kishan by lighting the lamp. During the program, the dignitaries also released the coffee table book 'Bihar Bioscope' made about the people who have contributed to the field of film from Bihar, beautiful places for shooting. On this occasion, IMPA President Abhay Sinha, Kunal and actor Rajan Kumar were specially present.
Many other artists, publicists, film producers and directors associated with Bihar were present in this program. Everyone was given detailed information about the film policy of Bihar. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, while describing Bihar state as the mother of democracy, said in his address that today is a historic day for the Department of Art, Culture and Youth and Film Corporation, when artists, filmmakers, technicians and people associated with films are present here. Bihar has been the center of social, cultural, mythological and rich historical tradition. History is hidden in every particle of the soil here. The film industry has an important role in the promotion of art and culture, through this the public can be made aware.

At the same time, MP and actor Manoj Tiwari said that cinema halls also need renovation in Bihar. If the Bihar government announces Film City, then we are ready to build a studio in the Film City complex. Filmmakers should move forward in the direction of film production without compromising on quality. How much benefit will be there from Bihar Film Promotion Policy, it cannot be told in words. Actor MP Ravi Kishan said that this was the penance of 20 years, which has been completed today. On behalf of the entire Bhojpuri cinema, thanks to the Bihar government for this. Omkar Film and Television Production's producer Rajan Kumar said that under Bihar's film promotion policy, an amount of Rs 4 crore will be given as an incentive for shooting a film in Bihar.
If a producer makes a film in Bihar with local artists of Bihar, then he will be given additional grant money. We appreciate this effort of the Bihar government, which will create more employment opportunities in Bihar. In his address during the program, Secretary Art Culture and Youth Department cum Managing Director Dayanidhan Pandey expressed his gratitude to all the guests and said that the Film Promotion Policy has been approved by the Bihar Government this year. The purpose of this conclave is to tell the people associated with the film genre about the Film Promotion Policy and listen to their suggestions and points. He invited artists to produce films in Bihar and said that the Bihar government is ready to provide every kind of facility to filmmakers and artists.
