A strong voting atmosphere has been witnessed today across 29 municipal corporation areas of Maharashtra. Since morning, long queues of voters have been seen at polling booths. In this election, a total of 15,908 candidates are contesting for 2,869 seats. What made the voting special was the presence of several well-known film and television celebrities who were spotted at polling stations along with the general public.
