As is widely known, the 26/11 terrorist attacks in Mumbai shocked the entire nation. The Mumbai Police, NSG (National Security Guard), and several other security agencies fought bravely against the terrorists. Brave, daring Mumbai Police officers like Hemant Karkare, Vijay Salaskar, and Ashok Kamte were martyred in this brutal attack.

To pay tribute to these great martyrs and honor their families, social workers and businessmen, dynamic  Kushal Suresh Dhuri is organizing the IFTAA Awards ceremony on November 26, 2025. The trophies for these awards were unveiled and launched at The Club--Andheri West in Mumbai, amidst dignified grandeur at an evening event brilliantly compered by

Distinguished Bollywood Honourable star-guests Poonam Dhillon ( also President CINTAA-- Cine & TV Artistes Association)  and Padmini Kolhapure ( also Senior Vice-President of CINTAA ), and popular film and TV star actress Resham Tipnis were present on this occasion.to unveil the trophies along with reputed film-writer Imtiyaz Hussain ( of films Vaastav and Astitva, etc fame). Host  Kushal Suresh Dhuri welcomed and honored all the guests. A special, attractive cake was also cut to mark the historic occasion.

 The grand spectacular IFTAA Awards ceremony will be held under the banner of Shri Ratna Balaji Films at Chitrakoot Ground in Mumbai on November 26, 2025. The IFTAA show's director and producer will be senior film-maker and cine-trade analyst Rajeev Chaudhari, and the co-organizers will be Surendra Pal and Ramakant Munde.

 Veteran yet evergreen star-actress Poonam Dhillon congratulated Kushal Suresh Dhuri on receiving this award and said that it's easy to be a hero in films, but being a real-life hero requires courage and bravery. Honoring soldiers and police officers and supporting their families is a very important task. The purpose of this award ceremony is to remember and pay tribute to the martyrs of 26/11, the soldiers, and their families.

Evergreen senior star actress Padmini Kolhapure, speaking in Marathi, said that "those who fight for the country and protect the country are the real-life heroes, unlike filmy heroes, where all action and bravery are fake and make-believe. Everyone should come forward to help their families. Kushal Dhuri's initiative is commendable".

The award organizer -impresario, visionary Kushal Suresh Dhuri, said that the Indians who were martyred in the 26/11 attacks were true heroes. We are organizing this award ceremony, "An Evening in the Name of Martyrs," to pay tribute to them and to help their families. Along with real-life heroes, we will also honor reel-life heroes.
