Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan's New Year celebrations are now often away from the hustle and bustle, of the world, with his family. Although he has hosted parties for his close friends many times and still continues to do so, he has often said that for him, the mornings of New Year is not the time for parties, but a time for introspection. According to reports, this year Shah Rukh Khan is going to be the face of a grand, special program at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai for the 2026 New Year celebrations. This celebration is reportedly going to last for 8 days.

The New Year festival will be celebrated from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026. It is said that the entire event is being prepared in collaboration with Shah Rukh's production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. The celebrations in Downtown Dubai are said to include spectacular fireworks and a drone show. Besides this, there are also reports of live performances in Bollywood style, which will be a cinematic experience and a grand parade with large floats and performers.

Spirit – This high-octane cop action thriller film by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is currently in production and has a target release date of May 14, 2026.

Salaar Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam – This highly anticipated sequel to 'Salaar' is planned for release on November 14, 2026.

Kalki 2898 AD Part 2 – This film is currently in pre-production. Shooting might begin in mid-2026, and the release could be in 2028 or 2029.

Allu Arjun

The new year has always brought a special responsibility for Allu Arjun. Kartik Aaryan

2026 is going to be quite busy for Kartik. His romantic musical film ‘Tu Meri Zindagi Hai’ (Anurag Basu's love story) is scheduled to release on May 1, 2026, in which he will star opposite Sreeleela.

Besides this, a fantasy action comedy titled ‘Nagzila’ will be released on August 14, 2026, in which he will play the role of a shape-shifting snake.

He will also play the role of an Air Force pilot in a patriotic film ‘Captain India’, the shooting of which is expected to begin in early 2026.

Deepika Padukone

Rashmika Mandanna
