The makers of ‘Border 2’ are currently busy with the film’s promotions. Following the grand launch of the songs ‘Ghar Kab Aaoge’ and ‘Jaate Hue Lamhon’, the team travelled to Goa, where a special musical event was held in honour of the Indian Navy. (Border 2 film promotions latest update)

Ahead of the film’s release, this programme was organised at the Karwar Naval Base, aboard INS Vikrant, India’s indigenously built warship. The event was dedicated to Indian Navy officers and sailors and stood as a tribute to those serving the nation. With the film set to release soon, the programme became a symbolic gesture of respect towards the armed forces.

During the musical celebration, renowned singer Sukhwinder Singh delivered powerful performances that energized the naval officers and sailors. Singer Vishal Mishra performed ‘Jaate Hue Lamhon’, creating an emotional atmosphere at the venue. Actor Sunny Deol also drew attention with his presence. He delivered a powerful dialogue from Border 2, filling the sailors with enthusiasm and pride.
Varun Dhawan and Medha Rana Dance

Recently, the new song ‘Mitti Ke Bete’ from ‘Border 2’ was released. The song highlights the bravery of soldiers who embrace sacrifice for the nation. Currently, only the audio version has been released, while the video will be unveiled soon. The song is sung by Sonu Nigam, composed by Mithoon, and written by Manoj Muntashir, and it has received a positive response from fans.
Apart from this, audio versions of five more songs from the film have been released. These include ‘Gurmoh’ sung by B Praak (filmed on Sunny Deol and Mona Singh), ‘Hindustan Meri Jaan’ sung by Anu Malik, Mithoon, Mohit Chauhan and B Praak, ‘Pyari Lage’ sung by Vishal Mishra and Tulsi Kumar (filmed on Varun Dhawan), ‘Tara Ram Pam Pam’ sung by Mithoon and Sukhwinder Singh, and ‘Mohabbat Ho Gayi Hai’ sung by Anu Malik, Mithoon, Sonu Nigam and Palak Muchhal. Each of these songs has received varied reactions from audiences. About ‘Border 2’
‘Border 2’ is based on the lesser-known and untold stories of the 1971 India–Pakistan war. The film presents the reality of war through the eyes of young soldiers, highlighting their courage, sacrifice and dedication to the nation. Along with battlefield action, the story also focuses on the emotions of soldiers and their families.

The film is a sequel to the iconic war film ‘Border’, with Sunny Deol returning once again. He is joined by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in key roles. Varun Dhawan will be seen portraying PVC awardee Hoshiyar Singh. The film is produced by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with JP Dutta’s JP Films, and is directed by Anurag Singh. Border 2 is scheduled to release in theatres on January 23, 2026.
