Canvas 24: Women Artists Shine at Kala Ghoda's Art Entrance Gallery

In an inspiring showcase of creativity, the painting exhibition ‘Canvas 24’ opened at the Art Entrance Gallery in Kala Ghoda featuring stunning works by artists Anupama Mandavkar, Bharati Dhawale, Madhumita Basu, and Shailaja Kamat. Exploring themes from cityscapes and contemporary canvas paintings to floral artworks and intricate dot paintings, the exhibition pushes the boundaries of modern art. Despite the bustling Navratri festivities in the city, many art lovers attended the peaceful evening to support the women artists.

Present at the event were Guest of Honour Surendra Jagtap - Treasurer of the Bombay Art Society, Supreet K. Singh of Red Dot Foundation, and curators Varsha Karale and Satyendra Rane, among many others. The showcase will be on at The Art Entrance Art Gallery, Army-Navy Building, MG Road, Kala Ghoda, till 14th October 2024.
