Charismatic Amruta Fadnavis honors 'female-star-achievers' at the Mid-Day Power Woman Awards 2025 ! by Chaitanya Padukone

As the stars twinkled above in the night sky, female stars-achievers below on earth ( 'taare zameen par') were being felicitated with  The Mid-Day Power Woman Awards 2025 in Mumbai. It was a glittering evening dedicated to celebrating extraordinary women who have made an indelible mark in cinema, music, literature, business, and social impact. The event was held at the Rooftop Terrace of Hotel Orchid where the airport-runways were visible in the distance. None other than charismatic Hon'ble Amruta Fadnavis ( wife of the State C.M.) was invited to honor the remarkable female achievers on stage!

The prestigious awardees included showbiz celebs Bhagyashree, Lalita Goenka, Eram Faridi, Divya Dutta, Krishna (Jackie) Shroff, Chhaya Kadam, Shweta Tripathi, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, Sadia Khatib, Yamini Malhotra, Sara Afreen Khan, and Veena Girish Wankhede, each recognized for their pioneering contributions to their respective fields.

Among the achievers Eram Faridi was bestowed with the Powerful Women Iconic producer-film-maker Award for her compelling films Meet Mr. Chang, Fedora’s Wrinkles, and Naina, while Lalita Goenka was celebrated as the Most Powerful Women Iconic Lyricist for her soul-stirring album Hairat.

Speaking on the occasion, multi-faceted dynamic style-icon Mrs Amruta Fadnavis, an esteemed banker, singer, and wife of the Hon'ble C.M. of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, expressed, “Women today are not just participants but are leaders across different industries. Their resilience, creativity, and strength inspire change, and it is an honor to celebrate their achievements.”

Each of the female achievers shared their heartfelt reactions on being honoured. Reacting to her Mid-Day Power-Woman Award, TV star film-actress-model-dentist-lawyer exuberant nature,  vivacious Yamini Malhotra ( 'wild card' contestant of 'Bigg Boss-18' fame) said " its so wonderful and motivating to get this prestigious Mid-Day Power Woman Award Award. Being a Bigg Boss-18 contestant has taught me to forgive and forget and re-connect with old friends where there was any misunderstanding or I had not kept in touch. The colourful glamour life of showbiz fascinates me and both BB-host Salman Khan and director Imtiaz Ali have complimented me for my photogenic looks, my energy, and positive vibes," enthused Yamini who has acted in Star Plus TV show 'Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Mein'

With Rahul Shukla as the gracious anchor host, the evening was filled with moments of inspiration, heartfelt speeches, and a celebration of the indomitable spirit of achiever women. As the event concluded, it reinforced the belief that dynamic yet sensitive women are shaping the present and redefining the fast-paced future.
