The DA VINCI: GENIUS – THE IMMERSIVE ART EXPERIENCE made its grand debut in India at the NESCO Center, Goregaon, Mumbai. The event marked a historic moment as this globally celebrated exhibition arrived on Indian shores, captivating audiences with its unique blend of art, technology, and storytelling.

The immersive experience, brought to India by Theia Enterprise India and Black Tie Production in collaboration with Phoenix Immersive, transformed the space into a stunning tribute to Leonardo da Vinci's genius. Iconic masterpieces such as The Mona Lisa, Vitruvian Man, and The Last Supper were presented in breathtaking detail, using advanced technology to create an unforgettable experience.
*A special preview was organized for the media before the public opening. During the event, several celebrities shared their excitement about the immersive experience in media interactions. Many expressed admiration for the unique way it blended art and technology, making it engaging for both art lovers and younger audiences who might not typically visit traditional museums.
Tabish F. Khan, Director of Theia Enterprise India, shared his enthusiasm, stating, “This is India’s first immersive experience of this scale. Visitors were treated to a mesmerizing 360-degree soundscape, with music curated by British Grammy Award-nominated DJ SASHA, perfectly complementing the visuals. The AI-driven features, such as interacting with da Vinci’s works like The Mona Lisa, were a highlight, adding a modern twist to the historical content.
The visually mesmerizing experience also showcased da Vinci’s groundbreaking scientific innovations and designs, such as a prototype helicopter, alongside over 20,000 words from his notebooks. This deeper dive into da Vinci’s life provided a new perspective on his work, inspiring audiences of all ages.
The opening night created waves in Mumbai, and the art show is set to travel to other major cities, including Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Kolkata, over the next two years.
