Dhurandhar Success: Ranveer–Deepika Celebrate Dhurandhar Success with Chef Vikas Khanna

Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has created a storm at the box office. After delivering a power-packed performance in the film, wife and actress Deepika Padukone was equally thrilled by its massive success. To celebrate the moment, the couple met celebrity chef and Master Chef judge Vikas Khanna. The meeting took place at Vikas Khanna’s New York–based restaurant Bungalow, where a beautiful blend of Indian tradition, sweetness, and celebration was witnessed. During this special meet, Ranveer and Deepika also learned how to make modaks from the chef.

Ranveer–Deepika Seen Making Modaks
Vikas Khanna shared a video on his Instagram in which Ranveer and Deepika can be seen learning how to make modaks with him. The video shows the restaurant decorated with fresh flowers to warmly welcome the couple. Deepika made her very first modak, while Ranveer watched the entire process attentively. Towards the end of the video, Vikas is also seen feeding freshly made modaks to both Ranveer and Deepika.

Vikas Khanna Shares an Emotional Note
Along with the video, Vikas Khanna shared a heartfelt note, calling it the “most blessed end of 2025” and the beginning of an auspicious 2026. He wrote that Team Bungalow felt privileged to celebrate this special moment with Ranveer and Deepika. He also mentioned that all guests visiting the restaurant would be served pomegranate and cardamom modaks to mark a positive start to the New Year. Vikas also celebrated the massive success of Ranveer’s film Dhurandhar.

He further shared a deeply personal emotion in his post, writing that he was standing in front of his parents’ wedding photograph while making the modaks, using moulds he had brought from the Siddhivinayak Temple. The entire experience left him feeling humbled and emotional. The video also featured close-up shots of the modaks and the traditional moulds, adding cultural and emotional depth to the moment.

Ranveer–Deepika Holidaying in New York

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are currently spending quality time in New York with their family. Fans have spotted the couple at various locations, with photos and videos circulating on social media. During this trip, Deepika also attended a Backstreet Boys concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, along with her friend Sneha Ramachander.

Work Front
On the work front, Ranveer Singh’s recent release Dhurandhar, which hit theatres on December 5, has crossed the ₹1100 crore mark worldwide. Ranveer is also expected to be seen in the film’s sequel. Deepika Padukone was last seen in Singham Again. She will next be seen in King and director Atlee’s upcoming film alongside Allu Arjun.
