"Ek Shaam Shaheedon Ke Naam" --Organiser Kushal Dhuri on behalf of IFTAA Awards donates Rs 51 lakhs to Police Welfare Fund in the presence of dignitaries !! By Sr. Journalist Chaitanya Padukone

Organised by dynamic Kushal Suresh Dhuri on behalf of IFTAA Awards 2025  on the historic martyrs day 26th November (26/11), the show emerged as an emotional, patriotic, musical, and of course a heart-felt tribute-salute evening event of honor-felicitations on stage. The musical show, which had wonderful, inspiring live international performers-singers, Samir Date and Dipalee Somaiya Date!  "IFTAA" stands for Indian Films and Television Academic Awards, and the memorial concert show was called 'Ek Shaam Shahidon Ke Naam' and "The Real Heroes to Reel Heroes"!

This was the IFTAA  tribute-salute gesture to all the daring Mumbai Police Force martyrs ( and also so many innocent civilians) who were brutally killed while facing spray of bullets fired by enemy country sadistic terrorists who stealthily landed in Mumbai in the year 2008. As part of their genuine graceful gesture,  Kushal Dhuri and his brother Manish Dhuri requested senior government official dignitary Shri  C S Mishra-jee to "unveil" on stage the large-facsimile display image of the IFTAA donation Cheque  of Rs 51 lakhs towards Police Welfare Fund. The actual crossed and duly signed cheque for the same amount would be shortly handed over to the concerned senior State-level Authorities, according to the IFTAA event organisers.

The IFTAA 26/11 memorial evening event held at Chitrakoot Ground ( Andheri West), celebrating patriotic bravery, sacrifice, achievements and creativity was well-attended by social and news-media eminent veterans invitees like renowned film-maker and cine-trade analyst Rajeev Chaudhari,  social crusader Shri K.Ravi.,  eminent senior journalist Chaitanya Padukone, publicist-photographer Ramakant Munde and Surendra Pal. There there were Corporate leaders like Yogesh Lakhani ( 'Bright')  and political dignitaries including popular local MLA  Haroon Khan, Mr C S Mishra --CGST- Zone Commissioner , Balasaheb Gaikwad, local senior police force officers, several families,  Showbiz Bolly-celebs included popular comedian-actors Vijay Patkar and  Sunil Pal, actor-producer Amol Bavdankar,  actress-models like Leena Kapoorr and  Aartii Naagpal and many more.
