Amidst thundering applause mentor-guide and ‘lucky mascot’ Padma Shri Anup Jalota launched the chart-busting music of Star Angel Film Productions' latest action-packed thriller drama, Rocky - The Slave,  on music label Red Ribbon owned by dynamic, charismatic Lalitya Munshaw, This amazing musical movie with realistic action, thrills and romantic separation is set to hit cinema theaters on Friday July 26. Produced by Shobha Barla, written directed by James John Barla who is also a fantastic action-master the movie  Rocky--The Slave promises to captivate audiences with its riveting storyline, intense fights-action sequences, cars being blown-up realistic scenes and powerful performances.

The action-romantic-crime thriller film boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring mega-star Shakti Kapoor,  Sudesh Berry, stunningly pretty model-actress Leslie Tripathy (cast in a multi-layered lead role),  Dalip Tahil, Mushtaq Khan, Amit Ghanshyam, Gavin Packard,  Richard Barla, Pradeep Kabra, Harry Josh. Each actor brings their character to life, delivering performances that are sure to leave a lasting impression on the audience.

 It may be recalled that evergreen mega-star Shakti Kapoor has acted in this Sunjay Dutt debut movie ‘Rocky’  (1981). By amazing coincidence after 43 years, Shakti-jee is acting in yet another movie also titled ‘Rocky—The Slave’  The invited guests were quite touched when Shakti Kapoor  openly apologized,  for turning up late for the Rocky music launch  event,  as he was held up at another event which was also special for him   The evening he said was extra-sentimental for him, because he was also the celeb-guest at a nearby theatre premiere of this excellent ZEE5 movie ‘Chalti Rahe Zindagi’  where his talented son Siddhant Kapoor plays the leading role with co-stars Manjari Fadnnis and Seema Biswas


Movie Rocky - The Slave follows the story of Rocky, a young man raised by a ruthless smuggler who betrayed and killed his mother. As he grows, Rocky becomes the smuggler’s formidable right-hand man, instilling fear among their competitors. However, his world turns upside down when he discovers the smuggler’s dark secret. The film then unfolds Rocky's journey of revenge, intertwined with a poignant romantic subplot involving a girl who stands by him through thick and thin.

Adding to the film’s appeal, the soundtrack includes captivating songs by acclaimed singers Alka Yagnik, Mamta Sharma, Ritu Pathak, and NRI singer Ajitabh Aj Ranjan, promising to leave a lasting impression on the audience. The music for Rocky - The Slave will be released on Red Ribbon Entertainment, further enhancing the film's auditory experience.
