Farhan Akhtar Launches Dada Kishan Ki Jai from 120 Bahadur, Honours Soldiers

The teaser and poster offered a glimpse into this remarkable tale, showcasing a courageous story inspired by the valiant history of Indian soldiers. While it has already piqued the audience’s curiosity, the makers kick-started the musical campaign with a grand music launch event in Lucknow, unveiling the first song, Dada Kishan Ki Jai. The launch event witnessed the presence of the cast and crew, while Farhan Akhtar spoke about the song and mentioned that “Lucknow is close to the heart.”

120 Bahadur Release Date Out: Farhan Akhtar Inspires Nation

Farhan Akhtar, who plays the lead role in the film, revealed at the song launch that the film will be released on November 21, 2025. He said that, "The film's tagline, 'We will not back down,' will inspire every Indian."

Speaking about the song, Farhan Akhtar said, "The music was composed by Salim-Sulaiman, while the lyrics were written by Javed Akhtar. Sukhwinder Singh sang it in his powerful voice. This song honors the memory of Indian soldiers."

120 Bahadur: Farhan Akhtar Leads Film on Rezang La Heroes

120 Bahadur recounts the extraordinary courage of 120 Indian soldiers from the 13 Kumaon Regiment, who fought in the legendary Battle of Rezang La during the 1962 war. Farhan Akhtar plays the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, who, along with his men, stood against all odds in one of the most defining battles of Indian military history. At its heart, one unwavering line echoes through the film: “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge.”

Directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment), and Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios), the film is an Excel Entertainment production and releases in cinemas on 21st November 2025.
