Recently, Delhi’s Minister for Art and Culture Kapil Mishra participated in the 25th (Silver Jubilee) edition of FICCI Frames 2025. During the event, he chaired a roundtable discussion titled “Made in Delhi: A Creative Capital Rising.”
The discussion revolved around three key themes — Film Policy, Festivals, and The Future of Storytelling. The session served as a strategic platform for dialogue between representatives of the Delhi Government and leaders from the film, OTT, and media industries.
The event was also graced by several notable personalities, including Divya Dutta, Rajat Kapoor, Maniksha Bakshi, Aman Bajaj (Editor, Lotpot magazine), and Shivank Arora (COO, Mayapuri Group). The objective of the program was to explore collaborative opportunities in content creation, production, and storytelling rooted in Delhi’s unique cultural identity.
Kapil Mishra’s Statement
On this occasion, Kapil Mishra said that the Delhi Government’s goal is to make Delhi the center of India’s cultural economy. He added that Delhi’s initiatives in the field of art are setting examples across the country and that in the coming days, the echo of these efforts will be heard nationwide.

Later, during a press meet, actors Anil Kapoor and Pratik Gandhi met Kapil Mishra and shared their experiences of shooting in the capital city.
A major highlight of the session was the announcement of the upcoming Delhi International Film Festival (DIFF), which aims to showcase talent, foster global partnerships, and boost the city’s creative economy.
The conference also appreciated the Delhi Government’s policies for strengthening the cultural economy.
The three-day event witnessed the participation of several eminent personalities, including IAS officer and Managing Director Bidisha Mukherjee; actors and producers Huma Qureshi, Vani Tripathi Tikkoo, and Sunny Hinduja; Vijay Koshi (President, TVF); Uday Singh; Sejal Shah; filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra; director-producer Danish Devgan; and filmmaker Jitank Gurjar, among many others.
