Actress Rashmi Gupta, who is currently seen as Chandra in Dhruv Tara - Samay Sadi Se Pare, speaks about her priorities in learning and professional development in her career.
She says,” I prioritize ongoing learning by staying curious and setting aside time for courses, workshops, and reading. Currently, I'm focusing on improving my digital marketing skills because I see a lot of potential in that area.“ She also shares how professional networking is important in her field.
She adds, "Professional networking is very important in entertainment. I build relationships by attending industry events, staying in touch via social media, and offering help when I can. These connections often lead to opportunities. To stay adaptable, I keep learning new skills and stay open to change. When setbacks happen, I reflect on what went wrong and adjust my approach for next time. Because I always try to see ahead in life.” The competition and pressure to stay relevant are too much for professionals these days.
We asked about Rashmi’s take on this. She says, "Competition is fierce, but I see it as motivation to improve. Staying relevant means evolving with trends and delivering quality work consistently. Also being a public figure means people judge you a lot. To handle this, I focus on my values and try not to let negative comments get to me. Having supportive people around me helps too.”
