Gioconda Vesichelli is a globally renowned opera queen, celebrated for her talents as a young, sexy child prodigy and as the inventor of Bollywood Opera, having been honored with numerous awards. Yet, above all these achievements, she identifies as an independent woman. She prioritizes freedom above everything else and refuses to be confined by anyone. Bold, outspoken, wild—Gioconda embodies the spirit of a free bird and desires to remain unencumbered. Many young, handsome, and wealthy men from around the world have proposed to her, and several young boys are her best friends, completely devoted to her. Gioconda enjoys their company, sharing meals, and drinks, dancing, singing, and reveling in good times. She shares happy, intimate, and humorous moments with these men but declines to be theirs or tied to them. She harbors no objections to love or sex, viewing these as natural emotions, but she opposes commitment and the bonds of marriage.

Recently, I had a telephone conversation with Gioconda to discuss these matters.

What are your thoughts on marriage?

Gioconda: "It's a constraint, and if quite crudely put, I will say marriage is a prison, a conventional institution created by civilized societies to suppress people, making it easier to manipulate them. Historically or even in tribal societies, before so-called 'civilization,' men and women were free to express themselves naturally without caging themselves... They fulfilled their natural physical needs. This has been acknowledged since ancient times. For instance, look at the Khajuraho sculptures or meet free tribal communities even today. They live naturally, owning their bodies without debate about covering or uncovering. Mental illnesses and depression are unknown to them because they live without pressure.

They express themselves freely; when they tire of a partner, they move on to someone else without malice, prejudice, or criticism, simply following nature's rhythm because they understand the true nature of humanity. After all, we are an animal species—not a vegetable species, right? Therefore, our conduct should be natural."

Have you ever been in love?

Gioconda: "I love life and the resonance of any spontaneous vibration, so I constantly love nature and people who follow their genuine nature."

Are you looking for some specific kind of man? If so, what traits do you prefer?

Gioconda: " No, I am not seeking any man because I am neither empty from within nor am I thirsty. I have everything within me and deeply love myself. There's no void in me, but yes, I prefer individuals who do not conform to sheep mentality and excite me with their unconventional energy. They may not be super handsome, but they should have a vibration that matches mine. In my short life, I have rejected many handsome actors, amazing men, and wealthy individuals—their well-built bodies were rich, but their brains were not beautiful or wealthy." Instead, I chose men who were less handsome but intellectually stimulating. When I align my vibrations with a man, I initially evaluate their dance—how they move their body reveals whether they might be a match for me or not."

What are your views on live-in relationships?

Gioconda: "Like marriage, live-in relationships are also a form of constraint, yet slightly better. At least if you feel bored or exhausted doing the same thing with the same person, you can switch partners without paying hefty lawyer fees for a divorce."

Are you currently involved with someone?

Gioconda: "What do you really mean by involvement? Ok, well, so, I have got involved with hundreds of people who gave me fantastic vibrations. The attachment lasted only as long as it brought profound participation, spanning hours, days, or sometimes months, depending on the fire within them. I believe, that life's beauty lies not in the duration of a relationship, but in its intensity. That intensity provides true joy and ties you to the universe's cosmic energy."

But if ever, at any point in your life, you grow tired of these stitch-free feelings and arguments, please let me know

Gioconda: "Definitely, promise! You'll be the first to know," she replied, suppressing a tinkling laugh.
