Galaxy of top celebs Jaya Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor, Daler Mehndi and more attend ongoing North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Pujo utsav-2024 by Chaitanya Padukone

Thousands of  Maa Durga ardent devotees thronged for both Darshan and savoring the prasad 'Bhog' amidst spiritual splendor and grand artistic decor, at the ongoing North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja Samiti,at  Santacruz West SNDT, campus grounds on subsequent days.

A galaxy of star-celeb- devotees of Maa Durga-debi also attended the second and third day inside the huge opulent Moroccan-decor Pandal within the restricted-entry area.near the stage.  The celeb-devotees included Debu-da Mukherjee, Jaya Bachchan, mega-star Ajay Devgn with son Yug and star-wife Kajol,  mega-star Ranbir Kapoor, Sujoy Mukherjee, model-actress Poonam Pandey, actress-model-performer  Nikita Rawal,  ( 'late' legend Bappi-da Lahiri's grandson) singer-composer-rockstar Swastik ( Rego B) Bansal with his parents Govind Bansal and Rema Lahiri Bansal and many more visited North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja to seek Maa Durga’s blessings at SNDT Ground, Santa Cruz.West ( Mumbai). Yesterday night concluded with a mesmerizing live vocal performance by celeb singer- performer Daler Mehndi!

 It was a delightful-sentimental surprise experience when the exuberant modest star-actress Kajol Mukherjee-Devgn came personally to serve food-items to the devotees who were relishing the Prasad-Bhog in the dining hall.

One of the oldest and most revered Durga Puja events in the city, this year promises an unforgettable spectacle, blending spirituality, art, and culture and divine blessings  at its newly adorned  spacious venue—SNDT  campus, Juhu Tara Rd,

At the heart of the celebrations stands an awe-inspiring 18-foot idol of Goddess Durga, meticulously crafted by master artisans brought in from Kolkata, ensuring the most authentic and breathtaking representation of the deity. Accompanying Maa Durga are the intricately sculpted idols of Saraswati, Lakshmi, Kartik, and Ganesh, together creating a divine tableau that embodies the essence of devotion. What distinguishes this celebration is its unwavering commitment to tradition. 

In a bold and creative shift, this year’s theme is inspired by the captivating beauty of Morocco,( exotic country located in North Africa)  . Devotees will be transported to a world where traditional Durga Puja rituals harmoniously blend with the allure of Moroccan artistry, infusing the celebration with a unique global flavour..

North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja is also fondly known as the "Bollywood Durga Puja of India" as since past several years, lots of star-celebs have been attending to seek Maa Durga’s blessings in the past several year.
