Smita Thackeray organized the Bhagwat Katha at Mukkti Cultural Hub. The event, which spanned seven days, featured prominent personalities such as Governor of Maharashtra Shri Ramesh Bais, Sukhwinder Singh, Shekahr Suman, Preeti Jhangiani, Ragini Khanna, Kamini Khanna, Suresh Wadkar and Padma Wadekar. Notable figures like Iskcon's Surdas Ji also graced the occasion. The Bhagavat Katha, presented by Shri Shri Tulsi Ji Maharaj, the Head of the Maa Tulsi Peeth from Vrindavan, captivated the audience in Mumbai.

Smita Thackeray's 25-Year Celebration: Bhagavat Katha Event Draws Crowds for Sanatan Dharma Teachings

Smita Thackeray, through her Mukkti Foundation, celebrated 25 years of dedicated service. As a social activist, Smita organized the first Bhagavat Katha in Mumbai, drawing a massive crowd. The event focused on the teachings of Sanatan Dharma.

Speaking about the event, Smita Thackeray mentioned that Shri Shri Tulsi Ji Maharaj, especially from Vrindavan, presented the Shrimad Bhagavat Katha for the first time in Mumbai.

It is noteworthy that Smita Thackeray has been leading the NGO Mukkti Foundation for the last 25 years. Through this foundation, Smita has actively contributed to various social causes, including anti-drug campaigns, women's empowerment, child welfare, and continuous work in the fields of art and culture.
