From Bihar to Mumbai: His Journey

Gurmeet Choudhary was born on February 22, 1984, in Bhagalpur district of Bihar. Since childhood, he had a deep interest in dancing and acting. At just 10 years old, he decided that he wanted to become an actor. As he grew up, he worked hard on honing his skills. He also received training in martial arts and is now a professional martial arts expert. He has also won the title of Mr. Jabalpur.

Worked as a Watchman During Struggle Days

To fulfill his dreams, Gurmeet moved to Mumbai, where his struggle phase began. To manage his expenses, he had to work very hard. During his acting training days, a watchman at the institute helped him find a place to stay. Later, to earn money, he even worked as a watchman at a store to support himself.

Ramayan Changed His Destiny

The 2008 television show Ramayan changed Gurmeet’s destiny. He won millions of hearts by portraying the role of Lord Ram in the show. Debina Bonnerjee played the role of Sita, and their on-screen pairing as Ram and Sita became immensely popular among audiences.
