It wouldn’t be wrong to say Sanjay and Binaiferr  Kohli’s Happu Ki Ultan Platan is the portrait of comedy in the Indian TV industry. The show, which is produced under the Edit II banner, has completed nine years on-air and is looking forward to completing another nine and beyond.

The show, which is produced under the Edit II banner, features Yogesh Tripathi, Geetanjali Mishra, Himani Shivpuri, Sanjay Chaudhary, and Sonal Panwar, to name a few.

Here’s what to expect in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan this week

Happu’s entire family becomes addicted to their phones, with everyone glued to their screens. This obsession leads to chaos in their daily lives. Rajesh trips and falls because no one notices her, the food is either too salty or too bland, and Happu mistakenly enters a neighbor’s bedroom instead of his own house. The angry neighbor scolds the entire family for their carelessness.

Seeing the growing problem, Malaika takes charge. She declares that phones should only be used for making or receiving calls. If anyone uses their phone for anything else, she will take it away. However, living without their phones proves to be very difficult for everyone.

The children trick Masterji and use his phone to play games. Happu borrows a tea seller’s phone to play games with Manohar instead of focusing on his duties. This results in a disaster when a lady complainant gets so frustrated with Happu ignoring her that she bangs her head against the wall of the police station, injuring herself.

An inquiry is held against Happu, and the Commissioner gives him a serious scolding. Thankfully, Happu is forgiven in the end.

In the final moments, the family sits together, enjoys a meal, and laughs with each other, something they hadn’t done in a long time because of their phones. They realize how harmful their addiction was and decide to stay away from unnecessary phone usage to focus on spending quality time together.
