Hon'ble Minister Shri Ramdas Athavale enthralls audience with witty humor 'punchlines' at celebs-studded Top 50 Indian Awards ceremony hosted by Dushyant Pratap Singh !! By Sr. Journalist Chaitanya Padukone

The prestigious Top 50 Indian Icon Awards (Session 5) ceremony event well-organised by Bollywood director dynamic Dushyant Pratap Singh ( who also brilliantly compered the live event), saw a glittering galaxy of celebrities from the Showbiz, corporate, spiritual, social-work and academic fields alike.

 Held on Tuesday, September 16th late cultural felicitation evening at Hare Krishna ISKCON Auditorium in Juhu, Mumbai, the Top 50 Indian Icon Awards 2025, under the direction of Bollywood director Dushyant Pratap Singh, the achievers Icon-luminaries added to the grandeur of the awards ceremony while the graceful presence of 'Chief Guest' popular RPI President and political visionary Leader and Union Cabinet Minister Shri Ramdas Bandu  Athawale ( with his terrific sense of witty humor and frequent amusing punchlines--despite the 'serious look' on his face  ) also added a distinct dignity to the event and enthralled the audience. "While I am honoring talented actors here on stage, I am also like an actor in the Sansad," Athawale-saab said jokingly  and got appreciative laughter and cheering from the invited audience. 

In the grand event, Bollywood's famous choreographer Sandip Soparrkar, comedian Sunil, actor Romil Chaudhary, Pal, Padma Shri Jaswinder Narula, actress Shiva Rana, actress Aasma Sayed, famous playback singer Debojit Saha, musician Anjan Bhattacharya, Yogesh Lakhani Bright Outdoor, musician Santokh Singh, actor Rajkumar Kanojia, legendary actors Pankaj Berry and Ravi Jhakal, Mohak Tripuri, actress and social worker Sangeeta Kapure, international healer Pradeep Chandiramani and many other stalwarts of the film industry were present, while among them, from the corporate world, finance expert Paresh Bangar, Mr. Jagmohan Arora, advocate Sneha Singh, dance-guru Sandeep Soparrkar,  famous social worker Amit Bhati, famous social worker Rajesh Singh Dayal, social worker Nalin Singh, corporate giant Jagmohan Arora, international author Vivan Karulkar, corporate giant Chakravartula Ramanacharya, popular  actresses Donny ( Vijeta) Kapoor, Jyoti Rana, Aasma Syed, TV Star Ulka Gupta ( of title-role 'Jhansi Ki Rani' TV Show fame) and many other stalwarts made their strong presence felt.

All invitee guests were welcomed with courtesy and fanfare by the organizing team, including international famous astrologer Ritu Singh and event director Dushyant Pratap Singh. The audience was mesmerized by the personal diversity of the artists and personalities from various fields being honored. Hosting the event, Bollywood director Dushyant Pratap Singh said, "This awards function is very close to my heart and family." Dr. Sambhajirao Baviskar, Vice Chancellor of Vikramshila Vidyapeeth, and Mrs. Pratima Totla, a member of the Royal Family of Rajasthan and the brand ambassador of the Top 50 Indian Icon Award, were also present. This ceremony marked the fifth edition of the Top 50 Indian Icon Award. Previous events have also honored prominent Indians from across the country and the world who have brought glory to their respective fields and communities, bringing glory to the nation.

Prominent personalities were honored with Vidya Vachaspati (Honorary Doctorate). On September 16, 2025, at a brief ceremony held at the ISKCON Auditorium, Juhu, Mumbai, organized by Vikramshila Vidyapeeth, 10 top notable personalities of the country were awarded the honor of Vidya Vachaspati (Honorary Doctorate). The said honor was conferred by Union Minister of the Government of India, Mr. Ramdas Athawale, and Vice-Chancellor of Vikramshila Vidyapeeth, Dr. Sambhajirao Bawiskar, to the selected personalities. Among the Guests of Honour were eminent senior film journalist Chaitanya Padukone ( bollyy.com and Mayapuri) and celebrity manager Ashvin-bhai Thakker ( of 'late' superstar Rajesh Khanna fame).

On this occasion, personalities like Padmashri Dr. Jaswinder Narula ( iconic, versatile singer-composer)from the Indian film world were present. Several top personalities from the social, educational, and entertainment worlds participated in the program.
