Arjun’s Journey: Abhishek Bachchan Shines in Heartfelt Drama

The story follows Arjun Sen (played by Abhishek Bachchan), a straightforward, simple man with an IIT and MBA background. He is a successful NRI based in California, making a name for himself in the world of marketing. Arjun has achieved a lot, and he’s still eager to accomplish more. However, his life takes a drastic turn after his divorce and the limited time he has left. He has a daughter, Reya (Pearle Maaney), who he gets to spend weekends with.

One day, he coughs up blood, and the diagnosis comes: Arjun is suffering from incurable laryngeal cancer. In his medical journey, another doctor (Jayant Kriplani) informs him that he has less than 100 days to live. His job is taken away, but the love he has for his daughter, Reya, keeps him going. Things keep getting worse, and his life becomes an uphill battle.

The doctors treat him as just another patient, but only Arjun knows the turmoil inside him. His body is deteriorating, but his love for his daughter is boundless. He carries the weight of life’s struggles, desires, and responsibilities. He fights to live, battling death with everything he has. Over the course of the film, Arjun undergoes 20 surgeries, with 90% of his stomach removed. His throat is left parched from the treatment. Despite the physical and emotional pain, his desire to live is unwavering. Amid all this, he must still take care of his daughter, with only a handful of days left to do so.

Abhishek Bachchan shoulders this entire film. Known for his powerful performances in films like Yuva, Sarkar, Dasvi, and Ghoomkhor, Abhishek proves once again why he is one of the finest actors in the industry. This film will elevate his career to new heights. The film doesn't rely on a crowded cast or excessive noise. With performances from Abhishek Bachchan, Pearle Maaney, and Ahilya Damru, directed by Shoojit Sircar, this poignant movie is all set to release on November 22, 2024.

For this film, it would be accurate to say, "If you haven't seen 'I Want to Talk', what else would you watch!"
